As you look at the glowing faces of your beautiful children think of the over 5 hundred children in Gaza whose lives were snuffed out because you didn't care enough to tell your government to STOP SUPPORTING GENOCIDE.

Not at all proud of this, nor the underside of the history of the nation in which I was born, the US.

But the truth IS the truth.

Gosh, this is all wrong, but I don't support it, please don't blame the American people, as honestly, we have no say, we have no say anymore even for the suffering and hungry and dying children of our own country, We have become the hated, even if we never did anything. Thanksgiving was a massacre for the Native Americans, yet no one taught us this in our schools and we only heard it from distant Native American relatives but we did not participate in this debacle and I for one wouldn't today and continue to protest the actions to the so called leaders of this land that are controlled by the very wealthy controllers of the whole world, please speak to them, they are behind all of this, the greed, the wars the killing of innocents, the lies about 9/11, all of this is the genocide of all governments, worldwide and I DO NOT support this genocide and have protested this killing but there only silence, there is no response. It is getting worse here for us too. We all need to push aside our bitterness and stand together or once again we will fall because of division, the very thing that the governments want to happen, we are fulfilling our own destiny. I abhore the pain that you have been subjected to, but please, I have not hurt you, it is the powers above us and it looks like they're winning as division is even stronger, bitterness and non-forgiveness will do us all in. All of you are in my prayers and all who suffer everywhere, now Afghanstan, but there is suffering, even here. I don't believe that
the children were killed in the Gaza because I and my family and friends didn't care enough to tell our government to stop. Our government does exactly what it wants to, without question. Our government doesn't even tell us what they are doing and neither does yours.. I have protested and written against the killing in the Gaza even in the 80's when I first heard about it. The majority of the Americans have been deceived about the whole situation and when ignorance ensues, lives suffer. This is not what the people want. Go to the source, our leaders, your leaders and the backers of them (international bankers, wall street, Kissinger, Rockefellers, Rothchilds and the list goes on. It is all wrong, our youth are sent to defend our country when it really has nothing to do with defending our country, it's all about what can be acquired from the top. The whole world is being run by greed and corruption. Through all of this I have to find something that is good, whether it be the day, the sky, my family or friends, I cannot and will not feel guilty for something that I have not done...
A wonderful young child from Germany by the name of Anne Frank wrote the following:
"I do not think of all the misery, but of the glory that remains. Go
outside into the fields, nature and the sun, go out and seek happiness
in yourself and in God. Think of the beauty that again and again
discharges itself within and without you and be happy."

This is horrible and painful to watch the video and know that my government is helping this to happen. I protest my tax dollars being used to provide weapons and money to Israel for settlement building while they order people to leave their homes under the point of a gun at a moments notice, while a bulldozer awaits next to the house to tear them home down in front of the children. This is theft. It is all theft, and bullying and lying, and murder. I protest it and want it to stop, and will write again to the White House to Obama and my legislators with calls and letters to put a stop to this.
America is being run by Israel's powerful wealthy, and persuaded by the Rich Lobbyists, and own ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN and two dozen news papers on the east coast, and 52% or more of our financial markets are owned by Zionists, and they monopolize Hollywood, movies themes and television declining quality of programs and increasing the dirty show for our children to watch. Please read the "
American is currently being shaped by the Zionists, the decline of our society.
Please read this: http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/przion1.htm
that will explain why the decline of America is happening so fast. We must protest to our leaders that we are done playing into the hands of the Zions.
I am ashamed of what my government is assisting Israel to do and that we are paying for their weapons and not speaking out loudly and publicity against it, but in fact are holding back the International Court from prosecution of Netanyahu for his war crimes.

Second paragraph second sentence should have said "who own", not "and own". Jewish Zionists own our media and shape the news and opinion of Americans trying to get us to side with Israel when in fact it is the Palestinians who are being murdered daily, water cut off, supplies cut off, etc.
Israel is now acting in the identical role as the German Nazi's. Netanyahu should be jailed for his murderous deeds.

Jan is right. Many of us HAVE told our government to stop supporting the atrocities taking place in Gaza. But please be realistic here. How much consideration do you think the U.S. government really gives to the views of the vast majority of citizens? We have to fight with our government concerning just about every issue to see that there is a fair and just resolution. Getting our government to address injustices even in our own country is not a simple undertaking. The situation in Gaza is no exception. Please don't paint all Americans with a broad brush. Many of us are horrified and sickened by our government's culpability in the killing of innocent people, especially children. But those of us who have little or no money and don't occupy the seats of power have little if any influence over our government's policies. Contrary to popular belief the U.S. is not ruled by a democracy. The only we can influence policy is through signing petitions, writing letters and making phone calls to our congressional representatives. But even when we do that, at the end of the day, they are going to do what they want....I meant to say....what the banks and corporations want.

No one in their right mind blames the American people! However the American Government in common with many others including my own UK Government have complicity in the woes of the world mostly born out of wanting something from the region or nations concerned and in the last hundred years that something has been oil. As the UK and other European nations have yielded the mantle of world policeman to the US the motivation for meddling in the affairs of other nations and even creating those nations is the same, oil! Human rights are daily trampled by oil companies around the world and of course BP ( it would of course be no different whatever logo was on the tankers!) is the fuel supplier of choice to the US military in the current conflicts. The connection is hardly less obvious to those who care to look and the bribery and corruption that go hand in hand with human rights violations are brushed aside as "collateral" damage" "energy security" "friendly fire", "terrorism" or whatever the spin doctors of government and their corporate backers care to wordsmith for the occasion. Most of us that can read are aware of the wise words uttered by children such as Anne Frank but sadly most if not all politicians are wilfully illiterate when it come to history and the lessons they should learn from it! If governments were not so busy bribing oil barons and actually addressed the issues of poverty, human rights, animal abuse and ecological disaster avoidance instead of tax avoidance and perpetuating the "terrorist" cycle by their own hands, then the world would be a better place for all but of course the rich would have less of Marie Antoinette's "brioche" Caterpillers are part of the metamorphosis of moths and butterflies, creature of intrinsic beauty, their metamorphosis in Israel is into machines of death and destruction is probably the only justification I could think of for using an insecticide or pesticide to halt this process of destruction and death!!

I don't celebrate Thanksgiving and after reading Dandelion's story and now this one I'm glad that we don't. I don't even think whether we celebrate Harvest Sunday, which is a kind of celebration in the church where the vicar blesses the harvest and pray and thank God for a good harvest, but it's nothing like Thanksgiving! Gazans you won't be forgotten. Palestinians you won't be forgotten, The cries for the scare children in Gaza whom under the siege, whom faces the rockets from the Israeli planes like the rain everyday. the cries of the hungry and thirsty children in Negev and Jordan Valley whom villages and homes were destroyed every time they build them, whom have been prevented from using the clean water resources that exists inside their villages, whom have been annexed by the settlers, the cries of the frozen children in Jerusalem whom homes have been stolen by the Israeli settlers and now they are without any shelter in the cold. they cries of the frightened children in Hebron whom can't leave their houses because of the terror of the Israeli settlers. The cries of the sick children in the entire West Bank and Jerusalem whom can't reach the hospitals because of the Israeli checkpoints which isolate the Palestinian cities and villages.
I tell them wont be forgotten, You are always in our hearts and thoughts, We will do everything until you see the freedom and live your childhood in peace and happiness like the regular children in the world.
You and your family will be free, Palestine will be free. We shall overcome someday.
Thank you very much dear Locan, My warmest wishes for you, yours and all the the entire world for a happy thanksgiving.

As I know the governments do not act as the nations want, the governors are merchants they do everything for their interests only.
I saw demonstrations every where, cries, and requests everywhere from the people of the world to stop the wars to bring the peace, but the governors are deaf, they need us, and kiss our hands promise us to fulfill our aims before they go to the power to make us elect them, and when they reach the power they do exactly the opposite, they fight if we ask them to do what they have promised, they put us in the prison if we protested their policies.
I'm not saying that to not blame ourselves, those politicians reached the power because of us, because we elected them.

Whatever you are given to you.

We have to strengthen our work to prevent our politicians from doing things against our morals, against our will, we have to work together, to cooperate with each other all of us around the world, and work in a smart way to force our governments to do what we the nations want.

We want to live in peace, we don't want wars, we don't want more arms, we want to help the distress people around the world, we don't want to kill them, we love each other, we don't afraid from each other.
there is no dangerous people, no dangerous country, no dangerous religion. we love each other, we want to live with each other. we are the same, we are one.

UNITED WE STAND.
FREE FREE PALESTINE !
FREE FREE THE WORLD !
FREE FREE THE HUMANITY !

Happy thanksgiving to all

Ghandi was amazing, he set up a long walk for peace and changed India. What I do not understand is how having been treated so badly in WW2, the Israeli's are not living by a more enlightened code. The suffering of Jewish peoples in WW2 must have brought them wisdom and insight, then how are they able to do this to fellow humans and not feel the shame of perpetuation of the dark energies by causing suffering, particularly to children. "Suffer the little children to come unto me" - that is humanity and compassion - and in allowing this suffering of innocents like this is 'being led by the Dark Energies' - we haven to bring light into the World, we have to stop the innocents suffering, immediately,, there is a great deal to be done and it needs to be done urgently. You willl be able to recognise the Dark Energies, they are the ones that Lack Compassion, Humanity and Empathy., whaterver side they are on.

Thank you, Locan. Thank you, Qais. I watched a movie filmed in Gaza last night. The movie was about a British photojournalist killed in Gaza. It was terrible to see the watch towers of Israel set up on every street, manned by snipers. Israel could turn every street in Gaza into a killing field. It is so obvious. Our government chooses not to see the truth.

The Israeli Govt are cold blooded murderers. They are the lowest of the low and I pray that they will reap their rewards for every life they have taken.

For more isreali atrocities against palestinian children and women check out Photos on my 'Profile' Page. You will experience first hand what the american weapons are doing to little babies in gaza.

SHAME ISREALI GOVERNMENT

SHAME AMERICAN GOVERNMENT

SHAME TO ALL THE COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD FOR, SITTING QUIETLY AND WATCHING SILENTLY, WHILE THESE INHUMANE MASSACRES ARE TAKING PLACE IN GAZA BY THE ISRAELI SOLDIERS.

Why is there no more humanity???
Why is there no more compassion???
How do we sleep at night in our cozy beds while the gazan children and its people do not even have homes(bulldozed by israel)???
Where are our morals, values, principles and decency gone to???
Have we become devoid of care and feelings for others???
Are we just 'zombies' carrying on with our daily lives oblivious of the intense pain and suffering of fellow human beings???
Why do we lead our lives in a trance-like state of indifference to murders of innocent people???

People of the world its time to take a 'STAND AGAINST ISRAELI ATROCITIES'
and STOP the AMERICAN Government from enabling and abetting these senseless murders and oppressions. Lets all get together and cause a huge OUTCRY; its bound to shake up the american government and other world leaders. STOP your children from joining the American army; wherein they are trained to become cold blooded murderers of little children and women.
Wars are no more patriotic; for they are fought with an aim to increase and expand the wealth of the Elite Few. No one is making wars against america; dont let the government fool you with their FALSE CRIES of "TERRORIST" Threats; how can that be when THEY ARE THE BIGGEST 'TERRORIST' and THREAT to WORLD PEACE with their constant and unprovoked WARS on innocent countries and its citizens. Next on their agenda is 'WAR' on IRAN(with their false claims of nuclear weapoms - just like they did in Iraq WMD); mass murders of innocent iranians waiting to happen!!!

GOD SAVE THE PEOPLES OF THE WORLD FROM THE ISRAELI AND AMERICAN GOVERNMENTS.

Thank you, Qais.

If I could say anyting to the Palastinians it would be: Please do not make the mistake of thinking that most Americans support the anti-Palestinian actions practiced by the government in Israel. Certainly, most of the more educated Americans despise the horrors visited upon the innocents in Gaza and the illegal settlements forced upon Palestinians by a right-wing Israeli government.

Unfortunately we have our own right-wing people here in the States too who, like right-wingers everywhere represent the local religious fundamentalists who are always at least covertly (and often overtly) intolerant of anyone who does not support their own religious biggotry. Christian fundamentalists are biggoted not only against Muslims and other religions, but against tolerant Christians in the same way that Islamic fundamentalists are biggoted against Christians and tolerant Muslims.

As long as religious fundamentalists influence their own governments the chance for real peace and understanding between peoples is greatly reduced well below what would be the case were fundamentalists not influential. That is true in America, in Europe and Asia, and in the Middle East. It is true that in America, in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, that the enemy is truely within.

I, along with thinking people in the United States and everywhere, condemn the activities of the State of Israel against the Palestinians. I, along with thinking people in the United States strongly oppose the ill conceived support that our government supplies the State of Israel and which Israel uses to oppress the people of Palestine. It is my belief that all thinking people everywhere strongly oppose the evil practiced by all nations against each other.

Peace be to, and for, all. For that is the ultimate good, and the ultimate goal of all good people.

The rest be damned, as they have earned it.

Thanks Locan, the video made me tear; heart aches for these little innocent bundles of joy who have no joy in their tiny lives; no homes; no food; no water; some are orphans. Can we picture our own little bundles of joy in that heart wrenching situation living daily in such dangerous and disastrous environment; thanks to the israeli army and its snipers in the security towers. Dont they too deserve to live a life of freedom???

Thank you too dear John,

I'm sure of that, the politicians don't represent the nations well, they represents their own interests.
Knowing you and all of my friends here, Knowing Rachel Corrie, and Ken 'o Kefee, and all who put themselves in risk for the sake of the peace and the freedom, Knowing Helen Thomas, and Octavia Nasr, and all who lost their jobs for the sake of the truth and justice.

Knowing them and every peace activist, and every pro-peace person, I'm sure of what you said.

Much peace and Love for all of the Palestinian people, for all the American people and for the entire world.

Hate generates hate, intolerance generates intolerance. Jesus, for teaching love, has been crucified ! Are we condemned to eternally make war? Do we really listen to the true words of our prophets, or do we just modify these words to fit our intentions? What an imperfect creature the human being is, and how imperfect is its soul!

Thanx Locan. This story sounds all to similar of what happened to the Natives/My Peoples here in the Western Hemisphere. But back then no one cared, well maybe a handful. I guess we should be lucky that we weren't totally annihilated, almost, 50 Million plus were from 1520 to Present. Really what can good common people do? Try anything good but mostly Pray, in a sense my people were very Spiritual and full of Love for all Life and look what happened to most of them.

My people know that the Good White Man Government or The Great White Father in Washington D. C., will do whatever they are told by their Money Gods.
The similarity People of Gaza & Palestinians, you are now the present day Indians/Injuns, and the Israeli Government is The White Man Government/Great White Father. So watch out, because to them and their Generals "A Good Injun is a Dead Injun". Blessings to All Good People, Ahoo!!

I remember the kid on the right from a video the circulated during Cast Lead. His father was holding him while talking to a reporter next to a bin full of dead kids. The father was screaming about how shrapnel from an Israeli shell punctured the kid's head, pointing to the back top-back of the head which could not be seen due to the camera-angle.

When his father turned to look at the other kids in the bin, we actually saw the spot his father was talking about. There was a white patch of scalp where the hair was gone, but no blood and no hole. Oops! Then that video showed the top "kid" in the bin a little too closely: The dark part of his cut-open shirt, presumably the blood-soaked part as there were only two shades in that shirt, stopped neatly at a seam by the sleeve, quite unlike any spread of blood through clothing that I have ever seen. Oops!

I don't doubt that children have died, but if they need badly made fakes to fill out the numbers for the videos then I am quite unimpressed by the severity of the problem. Also, if Israel were attempting a genocide like that blog claims, all Gazans would have been dead within three weeks of its beginning.

What a provocative piece of Islamic PR Machine. Palestinians are WORLD BEST PAID REFUGEES in the world, with the title of "refugee" doing to descendants, not just to Arabs who left Israel 60 years ago. Palestinians chargted 1.5 BILLION in EXTRA help to return to negotiations, even though US did not set any conditions for them, like surrendering land condition told to Israel.

The suffering on Gazans comes because they elected Islamic genocidal maniacs, who were bombing Israel for 8 years with tens of thousands of Iranian rockets.

There is plenty of blame to go around. Neither side has let voices of reason prevail. But I would hope that people of moderation would raise their voices for a just and lasting peace and a separate state for the Palestinians at last.

I am sorry but Americans have a lot to be guilty about when it comes to thanksgiving, starting with the origins of the celebration and most Americans still being in denial about it and about the genocide of the Native Americans. And all the slaughters outside the USA. Iraq, Vietnam, Serbia, to name only a few...

BOYCOTT ISRAEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Saying that your government doesn't listen to you is no excuse. BOYCOTT all Israeli products, and raise awareness.

Oh, and to Bob Algeron, it's obvious that children's lives and horrific deaths mean nothing to you when all you talk about is $$$$$$$$. Money, that's your only concern. Just like the Israeli government!

And when you blame the Gazans for their sufferings, you are blaming the victims for being slaughtered, as if they deserved it. Only that they were children, babies and innocent, harmless citizens.

There is no excuse for what Israel has done to the population of Gaza, a population that has nowhere else to run for safety. What Israel did is no better than the Nazis who rounded up innocent villagers and burned them alive inside churches and other buildings.

Many thanks to Locan for posting and to Mary P for forwarding it to me.

Remember these children, remember their parents.

Hello Elias, I agree with you that our cries are not heard and this is so wrong, not children, not adults or animals should suffer at the hands of war which has been going on even before history was recorded because of greed and even worse,, now it is for the benefit of the very very wealthy who can pay for wars, pay for media lies and pay for our elected officials to be elected. But I don't agree that we are responsible for who is elected. We are voting for liars, not leaders. We are promised no more wars, then after they are elected, more wars for nothing ensue. Again, this is not the general concensus of the American people, I have seen the corrupt leaders, like Sharon, it was obvious to me that this man was a warmonger and hatemonger and . Ariel Sharon also earned the name "the Butcher of Lebanon." BBC television's "Panorama" program aired a devastating documentary, "The Accused," detailing Sharon's central role in the infamous massacre of Palestinians in the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps in Lebanon, during the 1982 Israeli-Lebanese war. The program made clear that Sharon could be brought before a international tribunal to be tried as a "Class A" war criminal. This was devastating. I see the same thing happening now, but I know not one person who feels this is right , this is their home, no one should be allowed to come in and take over anyone's home or country, ever!!! I have seen this go on for years and it is heart breaking. Are we at fault? NO, yes we voted, but what total deception, even people who are not protesting this debacle thought the new President would bring a great change. It's all the same agenda folks. There are other countries besides the USA and as far as I am concerned they are all sleeping in the same bed.

following the spam...(a great example of damnable "free sneaking enterprise" at work.)

We Native Americans feel the pain of Palestine,
Speaking for my Native Wyandot ancestors, ( if i didn't ...who would?)
We don't have pictures of all our dead children limp from the small pox,
bloodied from the butchery of border red-neck americans, from the massacres
of Indian women and children ,where body parts were cut off and worn like trophies LEGALLY.
We don't have tapes of their screams as children in the boarding schools begged for mercy
from the priests and nuns who abused them physically and sexually

but we carry their pain.

we carry the pain of our ancestors who were subject to horrors today deemed ILLEGAL . Today,
if our American "Forefathers" existed today, they'd be locked up as sadistic, psychopaths.
So many times i've heard it said "get over it, we won!"... or ,..."that was a long time ago!"
I disagree! for people with a history of thousands of years on this continent the last 3 hundred years
are like a horrible dream we hope to awaken from.
and like the little faces of Palestinian children ...we see ours as well...and hear them in the trees...
and taste their tears in the cool clear streams of our Mother earth.

we drink, we lift our eyes and give thanks...
but when we stand ...we still carry their pain and even in our joy ....we still ache..

So, Locan... there are good people here that suffer too about what was done.
Our silence or our shouts do not change Leaders in a country founded on theft
and encouraging greed. Leaders who have to RAISE millions of dollars to be
a worthy politician. My silence or loud voice means little to politicians.
When we vote... its for either A. or B. never is there a box to check that says:
NONE OF THE ABOVE.

I see just two supporters of Israel here. Both of them with the same Israel is the victim, look how bad Arabs are shtick. Suck it up boys, your day is nearly over. People the world over are onto Israel and it's disgusting ways. Soon even Steven Harper will have to admit his "pals" are war criminals. Then they will suffer the fate of all the other war criminals in Bushpig's Amerika, they will be rewarded. Bush Harper Cheney Netenyahu Rice Rumsfeld all are doing quite nicely, thousands are dead, but hey,"you got to break a few eggs to make an omelete. One day I should like to have a taste of that omelete, oops forgot, rich people only.
Time has come to make a new omelete from eggs cracked in corporate boardrooms!

Richard Zane Smith I just want you to know that as I defend the Palestinians against Israeli atrocities and occupation there is always a deep seeded pain and guilt in my heart for the American Indians. I wasn't alive when the Indians were massacred by cruel and inhumane people, but as long as I breathe, I will try to stop it from happening again to the Palestinians. I also fear that the US is very close to a government take over and that soon we will become a Police State. Maybe there really is a KARMA.

Good news is the convoy has reached Gaza which shows that the Israel Zionist and American corporate media can be defeated once the world sees through the fraud of Israeli victimhood, labeling those anti-semites who criticize it's policies, and threatening others with cowardly IDF and Mossad.

The bad news is we are up against an Israeli Zionsit entity that have lost all sense of it's humanity, if it ever had one, as demonstrated by it's willingness to harm and murder the most innocent among us, the children. These shameless Israeli Zionist stinking bastards must now feel the wraft of the pressure of the whole world community. We can launch such an initiative on care two.

Our strategy should take place on two fronts.1.mobilizing the world community against the Israeli Zionist war crimes.2.Putting massive pressure on the United States elected representives to stop rubber stamping everything that Israel does. You can start by joining the movement group www.endtheoccupation.org

I might add that besides the Palestinians there is Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, North Korea, Iran and probably World War III. This is truly a never ending war against "so called" terrorists. Who is terrorizing who? It's no wonder we have lost the respect of people all over the world. I'm ashamed of what our country is supporting. Our kids fighting in foreign countries deserve to be brought home and they deserve a government that defends the Constitution, not a few elitists who are making a ton of money selling weapons to both sides.

Yes Richard, there is karma, but not bad karma for an entire country of people, remember, it was the leaders and a very "small" minority of people that are causing these wars and atrocities. If you want to take the blame for someone else's inflictions of cruelty upon others that's your personal choice, but I had nothing to do with any of this or the past. The bitterness is what will kill all of us together because our hearts will be separate. Because I have Native American Blood and European Blood, where do I fit in? I honor and respect the people that have suffered in past and hope and pray that our leaders will learn and never ever let these atrocities happen again. I am powerless over what others do, I have no money,no influence politically, or otherwise. I can write letters, but it seems to fall on deaf ears, my karma? We are all individuals and each will have their own, there is no such thing as mass karma. I don't believe that the killing in the Gaza is karma, nor the Native American was killed because of it nor will everyone in the USA because of it turning into a police state. I don't wish pain on anyone in any place in the whole world no matter what the leaders did in the past, do you blame the germans for the Nazi Regime and for the actions of Hitler? Karma is a very generalized term and said too frequently. There is good and bad everywhere, in every country and every land.

Noted and thank you.
What Isreal is doing to the palestinians is not much different than what the europeans did to the Native Peoples its genocide pure and simple you can't call it anything else . Its the killing off of a people to take their land from them by any means they have to do it ,starvation ,lack of medical treatment ,lack of jobs, or bombing them.

Genocide is genocide, no matter where it is done. Soft voices, loud voices, we still must keep letting those who rule know of our stand. To remain silent is to give approval. Keep speaking out, and for those who do, pray.

I'm so humbled to discover that this is the most I've been thankful for on Thanksgiving weekend in such a long, long time. It was only two years ago that I was completely horrified by the despicable and disgraceful attacks on those that posted of these atrocities during "Cast-lead." Your comments and support have brought tears to my eyes and I cannot thank you adequately.

Good to see not only so many good friends, but so many I haven't met before. Thanks for taking a look, which was all I could ask for. So grateful for all of you to take the time and especially those that were compelled to comment! I take my daughter to see the "Nutcracker" tomorrow and you have all filled me with such great hope for our future. Peace to you all, and may God bless the entire planet!

And share Love with those who hate us.
(Maybe the hardest lection to understand but indeed, read my lips the final one to make the process of change going, unstoppable.

It is noticeable in most of the world that groups are polarizing into factions of religious extremism. There is nothing wrong if any human searches for their spiritual outlet. BUT the polarization of people into religious groupings in an organized and traditional form begs the question: Are you part of the problem or are you part of the solution?

It would be a great step forward if many would take the stand to say they want to be part of the solution. All need to reconsider their stance and ally themselves within a movement of fraternity. New and non-traditional ways must be found to incorporate each and every person into the solution that must involve economic opportunity, freedom of speech, freedom of movement and equality.

To most people, a recitation of past offenses does not excuse current continuances.

Genocide is atrocious, regardless of the perceived "reasons"!!! As I read through these comments, I am filled with thankfulness for each and every one of you that speak for peace not war, for love not hate. There is much in the world that is despicable, yet if we despise the offenders we may never be part of the solution! We must move forward with peace and love, which may be attacked, but never defeated by those filled with evil. Indeed, even in my own America, Former Land of the Free, civilisation is fractured and polarized by anger and hate. I pray with tears for the Palestines, that they may overcome their oppressors, as I pray for Israel that she may again find the light of love and leave their hate filled path!
My many friends, I cannot yet send most of you another star, so I send you instead my appreciation that so many good and kind people are united!

I adopt John G.'s words here which are definitely mine as well:
"I, along with thinking people in the United States and everywhere, condemn the activities of the State of Israel against the Palestinians" And I will add to it " I, along with thinking and caring people in the States and everywhere, condemn the activities of the United States against their Native peoples."( and demand full compensation)

WHERE ARE THE PETITIONS to the US govt. to urge them for appropriate action ?? ( such as demanding a strict course and standing up against the destructive hardliner Netanjahu?)

Angelika,

We agree completely.

We treated the Native Americans with precisely the same cruelty and deceipt with which the State of Israel is presently visiting upon the Palestinians. Today most of us pay lip service to the evils of that barbaric practice of our ancestors, but are we really all that different from the likes of Custer and the other "indian" haters of the 19th Century? I propose many of us are not and submit the following:

The present dispute, which is largely represented as left against right in this country, is the subject of the so-called "illegal aliens". The left proposes that they be dealt with compassionately, the right that they be driven out of the United States.

Those "illegal aliens" are almost exclusively the decendents of Native Americans with very little European (Spanish) blood in their veins. That's why they do not resemble the European-Americans present in the majority in the United States. Pure Spanish people resemble Europeans. There are as many blonde haired blue eyed individuals in Spain as there are elsewhere in Europe with the exception of Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. And, to make matters worse, many Mexicans are directly related to the Native Americans who were driven into Mexico by the United States Army during the "Indian Wars" of the 19th Century.

We Americans, therefore, are still savaging Native Americans to this day with the blessings of the political right-wing even today.

And, fortunately, at least the American left and much of the center who realizes that and is not as hypocritical about it as is the American Right in this regard.

But, of course, that is somewhat of a departure from the subject at hand and deserves its' own discussion.

The IDF will continue his acts on the eyes of the worldwide as far as US and EU are supporting it blindly and donating weapons ans money.
Tha IDF murders women, men on the eyes of thier children and demolish the houses on the eyes of children if not over them at nights by firing Rocgets by F 16 and Hilicobtars ... and now US wants to give the IDF F 35... Sham to encourage and support wars and killing.
