Thanks Nancy. I explored around this website while there and they do a lot of good things even though they are a small group.

Plants clean the water and the soil.

Maples, Elderberry, some Cherries, Bull Rush, Cattails, Sago Palms, and the list goes on...!!!

There is Oil eating Bacteria that has been shown to be harmless since the 1960's...

Thanks Nancy!

Yes Acid mine drainage has been a problem in PA for a long time. My worry is now that the Pennsylvania legislature has cut the PA DEP budget by over 25% and the PA DEP having to lay off 250 how are they going to protect our waterways and public lands? The DEP didn't have enough staff before these cuts so how are they going to be able to protect it with even fewer staff? If you are upset with this cut call your PA state Senator and Representative (state level not the US Senate and House)

Thanks for sharing this with us.... these sorts of companies have been damaging the environment for such a long time now - all over the world, not just in the US. We need to stop them everywhere, protect our local environment. Problem is that the damage isn't just done on the surface but seeps down to the water table and of course we use this to drink with or irrigate our crops and so the cycle is repeated...
