Makes me sad and angry. There are not enough good people in the world and way to many bad ones. Too bad we lost another good one.

He was obviously a very brave man, especially living in a land of religious superstition and "gospel"-fueled hatred.

That's awful. I knew something like this would happen once his name was made public. Uganda is one of the most ignorant countries when it comes to the FACTS/TRUTH about homosexuality. If the losers in that country were a little more intelligent/informed that gays aren't bad, this poor man would still be alive today.

Many are thankful for your strenght & courage.

You will be missed Mr. Kato!

Kato always knew he was likely to die for his activism, but he continued to fight for justice. He was the true definition of courageous. May his suffering and death not be in vain. And Nathan H, I think somewhere in those gospels of yours it says the right of Judgement belongs to God. Since you aren't him, I guess you will meet up with lots of nice gays in your hell!

This is a really bad news. Especially to those gays out there.

How tragic. Those that take a stand and fight for the rights of others are senselessly and brutally murdered while hateful, intolerant pieces of human garbage are allowed to carry on with their pathetic lives. :( It's not fair. I'm not naive and know that life isn't fair but I still have a hard time trying to figure out why it's so profoundly unfair!
