Kat, you might want to put a warning on that link. I understand it's reality, but it's also very hard to watch. You might want to prepare some people.

I made myself watch that video. And I did it for the animals. I'm convinced that we have lost our humanity. It is disgraceful and disgusting the way animals are treated in this world. I hope there is a special place in the depths of hell for these people and a very loving place in Heaven for the animals, who suffered so much and for what? The greed of the Humans who should be protecting them, not torturing them to death and skinning them while they are still alive. What on Earth have we evolved to?

Thank you Kat Moasi. This documentary is a must see.
It's important to show this to people that are just getting involved in animal rights
When I watched it,I felt terrible for days and it was constantly on my mind. But actually it made me stronger in my fight for the animals.
And yes,it's very graphic,it will make you cry, scream as it will make you very angry.
Hard to watch but at the end it will make anyone more convinced than ever to really stand up for the animals.

Thanks for posting this, Kat. A vegetarian friend of mine had me watch this about a year ago, and it really made some unforgettable points. Yes, it's graphic, but that needs to be seen.

When I saw it this morning, I had to send it out in email. Though I was in tears, I know we are the only voice most animals have to speak against such cruelty...Let Us All Scream That We Are Mad As Hell And We Won't Take It Anymore!..in our own quiet ways if we must. I think that buying the film is very important. It shows that we support those who made it. And how hard it must have been to create it. Let us all keep the faith and strength to keep fighting for those who cannot fight for themselves, PLEASE!!!!!

Some of the pictures are deplorable and made my blood boil!

Everyone should see this, if it does not change your mind about how we eat and clothe ourselves then you are not human.

I couldn't watch... still reeling from shocking images I encountered earlier while signing petitions. But I agree that films like this are VERY necessary. Too many people WANT to be ignorant, pretend that killing animals doesn't matter... or that it's done humanely :(

An author once stated "the world is a beautiful place except for a pox on it called humans." We must start by not killing anything, not even insects. All life is precious and I for one set the bar at zero, otherwise who is to say what live can be taken and for what reason. Gods law is thou shalt not kill. I don't remember it saying except for, food, revenge, greed, profit. If Christ ever walked this earth he died for one reason. He was angry at the slaughter of animals and committed a crime for which the Romans could sentance him to death. What a message for all.

I have seen documentaries through the years on such subjects and can no longer face man's inhumanity to animals because they can! I do what I can by talking to people. Some are interested enough to get involved or to switch food sources etc but most are uninterested. A friend of mine (a practising Christian) once said that God gave animals into our care and one day we will have to face Him and answer for our treatment of them. This is a powerful statement and one that made me stop to think. I believe that domestic animals have the right to care and consideration. Wild animals are individuals with feelings and the rights to their own homes where they are safe from poaching and illegal logging. I believe in my religion where I am not allowed to have an animal in a cage (except to protect them if they are ill) although I reluctantly accept that zoos are now essential as arks.

However, as long as we take medicine we must accept the use of animals in research. However, this must be done with care, consideration and true humanity. No LD50, no research on animals just because we can! Testing must be kept to the minimum and only after cell culture testing and any other alternative. Homes must be found for animals after the research.

It is sad that this film needed to be made and it is even more important that people, other than ourselves who already know, see this. It would be wonderful if it was aired as a documentary across the world but the more people who see it the better.

How does one reconcile the philosophy that humans should not harm animals with the fact that animals often with great cruelty predate and kill each other?

Frank Mancuso (35)

It may be very difficult but it makes us stronger in our fight for the animals, and it will make anyone more convinced than ever to really stand up for the animals ! Films like this are nessesary to wake up some people that are ignorent and indifference to the crualty around them.
Thanks Kat !

100% with Claudia its a vital film and I love Joaquin Phoenix!
Julia A. Quite simply because we have a choice! We dont have to be cruel. They are innocent we are not. We claim we are more evolved and civilised so we should act like it.
