I apologize for disagreeing but I do not support this man. He beat his 80 year old Navajo father-in-law and I have no respect for him anymore.

Responsibility and freedom do go hand in hand. But if it is true that this man is capable of elder abuse--that would change my opinion of him--but not what he is saying--what he is saying makes perfect logical sense. but I would not respect someone that is capable of hurting an 80 year old man. thank you for sharing this.

Thanks Russell. We have all allowed this government to do what it's doing. What a mess in just over 200+ years we've made. Alot to think about. All of us need to make a change.

I have personally met this man and hold no honor or respect for him. For all he does, he's very cold towards of us that helped with the powwow.

Ryvre and Dian..How awful..especially the elder abuse..if this is true..and I have no reason to doubt the word of either one of you..Then certainly this is not anyone I could respect..and or support..not ever..

However abusive or cold some people may allege this man to be, he's right. We've allowed ourselves to go into debt...so let's stop passing the buck,so to speak, and start taking responsibility for our own actions and for those who came before us.History will continue to repeat itself if we don't.That's all I have to say about this.

I have full respect for Russel Means, what he stands for and what he has done for Indian country. He's the American Indian BRAVEHEART!! hero or criminal?depends on who's version you believe.Russel is not afraid to speak-out on Native issues that Natives people have to face everyday with prejudice and forced assimilation still going on today. He is a hero like other members of AIM.Look at your so called leaders, they all speak with forked tongue.

Great video. However, I must say that I do not hold pride in relation to the degradation of North 'American' Indians. I will always remember a certain statement: Question posed to an Elder Native American; Something to the effect, 'What did you call this land prior to Non-Indians?--- "Ours". Blessings to all---
