Blessings Kat and Russell Means, for your honesty and truth, The Popol Vuh is one of my favorite and most cherished books today, it is the true spirit of the Mayans culture and heritage, art, rituals ceremonials, and magik of the life and death cycles, everyone should read this book so to understand more about ancient knowledge and wisdom of the ancient ones, thank you for sharing this Kat,it needs to be brought out to the public, it hurts because it is real, it makes my heart cry,to see the pain, the shame, the sadness, and the untrue that the media and government have created all these myths of untruths about our very rich culture, heritage, wisdom, sacred ritual and truth

Wado Kat as I watch this I seen him wipe the tear as I sit here and watch and listen to every word my heart broke into and anger raged in me for all he said is true. No body can do nothing and they are the pooriest of all the langugage to teach is not allowed. Only the goverment and Holywood as he said has any right to them but then they make them out to be dirty or drunkers. How dare people look upon them like this but they do and I know it too and yes it makes me mad too. As I listen I felt like my heart would bust for I seen the pain in his eyes for his people. Note Kat with sadness and anger.

A country founded on deceit will die by deceit. That is the what is already happening and will be our end if we do not unite and demand that it is made right and put an end to corrupt governments.

Wado kat.! I 've listened to his video response to the PBS series and I agree totally with his comments. Unfortunately, this series left much to be desired and I found it embarrassing that it was only portrayed from the view of the Waischicos and not from the perspective of first peoples Truthfully, I found it painful to watch because they distorted the truth..Granted, it would take far more installments than they allowed for, to completely cover the massive truth of Our Native History and to be truthful, it would not put the first immigrants or most of them, in a very good light. They never dared to mention the recorded journals of those few who were on the side of their First Nation neighbours. If it wasn't for the openness of our native ancestors, the early immigrants would not have even survived their first winter.

As to Russell Means comments regarding the Lies#16, he's right again regarding the structure of Native languages. Even the Hawaiian language , which is also Matriarchal, does not have a word for kill, hate or murder in it. Also their word for Love(Aloha) has 14 different uses or connotations , which in the English is language sorely lacking.
All old world treaties on Philosophy and Metaphysics, translated from any arcane languages such as Sanskrit, Chinese, etc., first were transposed into German and later into English. The Tao Te Ching( The I Ching /Book of Changes) by Richard Wilhelm, is one example. This was because within Arcane German there are parallel words to Sanskrit and ancient Chinese which have no English counterpart. Kudos, Kat. Peace in Our Quest for Truth
It is no wonder that most Westerners who colonized this part of our world, had no understanding of our ancestors. There had no linguisitc connection unless they were Gaelic,( Irish, Scottish, Welsh) or Basque) All of these languages mentioned are also Matriarchal and have similar root words and histories of oppression. Also, as Black Elk said in his book," Black Elk Speaks" When the ruling government uses our Sacred symbols on their coins and then desecrates our sacred lands and annihilates our sacred animals and peoples, then it is the beginning of the end for that country.(Pardon my paraphrasing of his revered prophetic words.and also my misspelling of linguistics.
