Poor Jani - I hope she gets the help she really needs and I hope that one day they can all live together without the fear that she might accidently hurt her little brother. Most people don't realize how easy they have it or how good their lives are until you see a family like this that is struggling just to try to keep thier family together and their children safe while dealing with a child with schizophrenia.

Thanks Kat for posting

My heart goes out to these people. There is so little that we truly know about the workings of the brain

The video won't work. I see a still shot of her and then when I push play it just goes black and never plays.

First, thank you Kat for this news, it's hard to swallow...noted.

This is my opinion only, get Jani off of the "DRUGS", especially "THORAZINE", yes...I know the docters treat people with schizophrenia with these type DRUGS, and what it does to a persons mind.

It truly is not good to have this child on these types of meds! I have had friends of mine take those DRUGS and it just changed them, completely. Not for the better either, and they were quite young when they took them.

I hope Jani can find a "natural" way of healing, perhaps swimming with the dolphins? Or something to that effect. Why does it always have to be drugs that "MIGHT" help? Perhaps the meds do more harm than good, that's why. You heard it straight from Jani's own mouth. I watched the whole video, she distinctively said, "I don't think that the "THORAZINE" helps, now...what does that tell you? STOP giving her DRUGS...please.

I pray for this family to be reunited in unity with healing blessings for Jani.

Peace,
FreeSpirit...

Get the kid OFF this stuff! Gees, man they are going to kill her! She is doomed to a life in an institute on this stuff and will never learn anything they screw the mind these are really really bad drugs! Next they will be giving her electric shock and really fry her brain! Insanity starts with Psychiatry!

Oh I so agree with FreeSpirit Running...get this child off the DRUGS. These drugs were made for adults not the wee bodies and forming brains of children. Everything that doesn't seem within the norm the medical people want to throw pills at...that should be only when ALL other things have been explored. I would say it is the Drugs that is causing her to become violent as this is combative behavior developed later on and after taking drugs.

Have they not thought to think that perhaps she may have not a disease but a "gift"? Perhaps she is a "medium" and that she does see into the Spirit World? That is not a curse, the parents if they treated this matter of factly as a gift would instead make her feel good about herself and not make her feel as if she is strange, sick, or awful in some way.

I am crying too...but it is because I do not feel Jani is being treated properly by the medical establishment and the parents not understanding the beauty of speaking with Spirits is blindly following along.

Why do I feel this way? Because I know of a very gifted Medium who also did not sleep but little as a baby and child, who had some strange "quirks", who also spoke to what some would call imaginary friends, and this person today is well adjusted, self supportive, and helps many people during their times of grief. There has been great accomplishments from this person because the parents treated the child from the get go as "gifted" and not "sick."

I really feel for this little girl and her family. Schizophrenia can a very debilitating condition and can cause a lot of mental torment. This is a very severe case of the illness & it is very unusual to have an onset at such a young age. I am hoping and praying that they find a level of treatment with a variety of therapies, psycho-analysis, cognitive behavioural therapy & maybe even hypnosis. Hopefully, this will lower the level of medication this little girl will need, which can have very traumatic side effects that can sometimes be as distressing as or worse than the illness itself. Little Jani is in my thoughts and I hope they can stabilize her to give the little girl and her family a good quality of life. She is obviously highly intelligent, which sometimes can be frightening for someone so young, as her mind is probably so active and hyper & she probably has so many thoughts going round in her head, it is difficult for her to relax as she is so pre-occupied with intrusive thoughts. I send Jani and her family all my love and I hope they find a way through this.

Thanks Kat;

I agree with Sally, she took the words out of my mouth. Such a nasty Mental Illness, it seems so unfair, and is!

My thoughts and prayers are with all who suffer with this and I hope governments start to fund more into mental health instead of wasting millions on making 5 different erectile dysfunction drugs! It's insane!

Thank you,
Nick J Davis
