I absolutely love these videos by Russell Means! Oh, but, WHAT AM I SAYING??! Well, I love them even more than I love my potato chips! OK?! OH, JUST FORGET THAT I USED THE WORD, LOVE! But, I'm afraid there may be a word count on this comments box, that would cut me off if I tried to fully describe how very incisive, informative and sometimes even humorous his ongoing "Weekend Updates" commentaries nearly always tend to be. I think I even detected a slight crack of a smile on his face, as he mentioned people who also LOVE their McDonald's hamburgers, as if he had had a flash of a thought about something further that he could say about McDonald's. I wonder what THAT might have been.(?) So, the commentaries in this series always leave me with a number of lingering thoughts for further consideration and reference. And, I hope that our Lakota brother, Russell Means, keeps more of them coming! (Thanks for posting, Kat.)

No word for love or hate....Imagine that....Having to actually express your feelings rather than allow one word to generalise them for you.Something to think about....Thanks once again,Kat....and Mr. Means.

We need more free thinkers in this world. Is important to look at all sides in the history from various angles...too many accept the spoon fed version. But then again, it is always the victorious who gets to write the history books.
It starts by each person waking themselves up, then educating themselves, then taking time to teach their own children around the kitchen table. Don't eat at the table anymore? Why not, the best education my children got was over a well prepared hot meal, at the table, with their parents, and then we must insist the schools do a better job in the balance of history.

We spend so much time talking about the science, english, and technology classes and the history classes get swept to the side. But ah, it is in our history that we learn to "free" ourselves and our thinking. So might that not be why much monies or attention is given to the history classes being improved?
Remember, an ignorant population is one that can be kept in better control. The black slaves were forbidden to read and learn...why? To keep them in control. You see with knowledge is power and the powers to be in this Country would just like to keep the power and YOU to remain ignorant so you will stay calm and in "your" place.
Your thrown a few bones along the way to keep you still, an I-pod, TV set, to keep you quiet, hopefully content...and blinded to the truth. Thankful to the Russell Means of the world who keep "free thinking" each of us needs to take the blinders off....think my friends, think!
