Thank's Brandy,
I'm taking the liberty to post the direct links:
http://freeflour.com/
http://www.thehungersite.com/clickToGive/home.faces?siteId=1
http://www.freerice.com/
http://www.bhookh.com/

One of the sites is new to me, I added that to my daily clicking.
Yes, I am clicking EVERY day, if only many, many more could do that. :-(
We have to stamp out hunger and poverty, once and for all!
What are we waiting for?
If not NOW - WHEN???

Thank you for posting this, Brandy. There is no reason (other than sheer greed) why anyone dies from hunger.

The only way that we can guarantee an end to poverty and hunger is by transforming the oppression, exploitation and impoverishment of capitalism into democratic socialism, in which we all collectively own and democratically manage the economy (e.g. workers' democratic management of each workplace). This way we can guarantee everyone a job, or at least an income, and we can rationally choose how we distribute the wealth that we workers create - e.g. we can guarantee human rights, such as food, clean water, health care, housing, sanitation, and access to education, for everyone. : )

This is why so many capitalist countries are failing to achieve the Millenium Development Goals, while socialist Cuba and Venezuela (which is in the midst of a socialist revolution) are achieving the Millenium Development Goals.

Well said, Simon.

I would have called Chavez more of a nationalist myself, but that's something we could argue at a party conference (no, I am not being facetious, ironic or in the least bit dismissive here - clarity of perspective is integral to a revolutionary).

Anyway, keep up the good work!
