Methyl bromide was supposed to have been banned by 2005. But the EPA allowed loopholes that continue the use of this deadly poison. According to Truthout, California used close to 4 million pounds on fruits & nuts and on soil used to grow strawberries.

Coal ash is a toxic byproduct of burning coal that contains mercury, lead, arsenic and chromium. and there is just no excuse for the EPA to treat it like it is simply household garbage, say critics of EPA's new rule.

Last year while the Phonesavanh's baby boy Bounkham (Bou Bou) was sleeping, a Georgia swat team burst into the bedroom and set off a flash-bang grenade that landed in his crib, severely burning his face and torso. Now GA refuses to pay for his surgeries.

A call centre worker in Brigend, UK had his pay docked because of toilet breaks at a company where drinking lots of water is encouraged. UK's Trade Union Congress says the law should clearly forbid pay deductions for toilet breaks.

NYPD is under investigation for a rash of incidents where excessive force was used. But one of the latest - a pin-down of a pregnant woman - puts an innocent unborn child at risk. She was thrown, belly-down onto the street, her hands held behind her.
