Texas is a very energetic, smart and playful German shepherd dog. "He always tries his best to please me," said his owner Helene Bäckman.

I do believe that our companion animals can develop OCD, but this seems an unusual manifestation -- I had a cat that was poisoned who did the same fly-catching thing - without the jumping - as a symptom (He recovered).

So sad to see the poor pup stuck in that sort of OCD manifestation. I hope they can find ways to resolve these problems. But, of course, in-breeding to constantly produce the "perfect" pure-bred dog is much of what contributes to these. Why I like my Heinz 57 mutts LOL.

Are you certain he's not going for flies or bees (bees are easier to see) My boy used to do it, he would catch a bee on every 3rd jump, but after 5 would throw up. He though they were evading his territory,

The human should be fair to other forms of life since they claim themselves to be the most intelligent and intellectual
