hm. interesting.

But WHY do so many and more and more people have such bad eyesight ? Isn't there some popularwisdom about prevention vs. treatment ?

this is an awesome invention and will help many people live and enjoy more independent lives. As long as they can keep it affordable for the majority of the people who will need it, since handicapped people aren't exactly flush with cash.

Very good news. My mother is legally blind now (doesn't stop her from greeting me with, "Oh, you're wearing that? It doesn't fit right." HOW does she know?) She would be one happier person if images were sharper (but it still wouldn't stop her from commenting on how I look.)
