Priscilla Bledsoe, 60, was found guilty of animal cruelty in an Austin, Texas courtroom on Monday. In November 2011 Bledsoe surrendered her two-year-old starving and extremely ill Great Dane to the Bastrop County Animal Care. BEFORE AND AFTER

This is terrible. This pathetic woman basically got nothing but a slap on the wrist and then she gets to keep the other 2 dogs and 2 cats??? What happens when she can't pay for the other animals illness,should there be one?? Where's the justice?? On the other hand,i'm thrilled this sweetie recovered and now has an awesome home with other furbies!! Thx Kelly!

Sounds like good news on the surface, but again, a suspended sentence and probation that can't be enforced because of a lack of man-power. The only hope here is that her name was made public enough that people will be watching her. Geez, this p***es me off! We're wasting our tax dollars and court time for...NOTHING!

I am just now reading this story. The good thing is that the dog is safe and in a loving home. This poor dog has been to hell! The crime is not stiff enough.
