New Mexico's attorney general ruled on Monday that veterinary drugs commonly administered to horses would render their meat adulterated under state law, meaning it would not be fit for human consumption.

Great--but can this actually prevent all the horse slaughter?? I don't think so...thx Kelly

PLUS....they can't operate without USDA meat inspectors. Why should the US taxpayer foot the bill for horsemeat inspectors when USDA has cut normal meat inspectors under the Sequestration???
