Do you know who the top purchaser of antibiotics in the US is? And why it matters? While large private and public hospitals may come to mind, or perhaps one of the national pharmacy chains, you would be mistaken.

So many think that the way to get away from all of this is to go organic. However, they are shocked to find out that organic farmed animals get sick, are not allowed to have antibiotics administered to them. The only way to REALLY get away from the over use is go on an organic plant-based diet.... My mom was shocked to learn this, and so was my ex-boyfriend....

Go vegetarian or vegan - better for animals, for us and the planet.

Stop eating farm-factory animals, it's good for you health and theirs and will bring a halt to a lot of animal abuse. Know where your meat comes from.

This is one hell of a way to take your antibiotics. Go vegetarian and eat a different array of chemicals, better still grow your own and know what you are eating.

OMG/1 This is horrible. Will the day ever come that people finally rebel against this evil? I guess not.

I think that factory farms should be banned.by the American people. Our government is such a bunch of money grubbing pussies that it is time we stood up for ourselves.
End of story-end of abuse to animals -end of antibiotics becoming non effective.
