Finding the scum and giving them the same kamic justice is completely appropriate.

Anyone who does this kind of thing should be subject to the same treatment.

There's a saying about not bringing yourself down to the level of people like this - I hope he/she is found, skinned alive, then put into the worst prison for the rest of his/her natural life...

This is truly so sick and sad. Karma please then put the scum in prison and let the prisoners hand out their own punishment.

Very depressing to hear of this sort of behaviour and the very unfair terror and pain that this dog had to go through for no reason but a random act by one unbalanced individual who did the most horrific things to this dog. I imagine it was random and not some nasty revenge that can be taken out on a family pet by a jealous boyfriend or something like that as that sort of abuse can happen in some situations where a partner or an ex will seek revenge on a pet. There are women in domestic situations who are afraid to leave an abusive situation because their pets and even their children have been threatened with harm. A few shelters have a contingency plan for pets but most don't.

This is still likely a random act of violence, probably a child's pet stolen. I don't know what could have driven anyone to participate in such a sadistic and cruel act. I am not going to say that I want the person skinned alive or tortured in another fashion because what is the point of it, that's not going to happen and if it did then it means we degrade ourselves by allowing ourselves to be brought to the point of such actions.

Yes, I can understand the raw emotions this evokes and the wish for revenge, one can only imagine our feelings if that was one of our own pets that suffered such a fate, but we can't descend to the same level as the perpetrator who must be treated for obvious psychiatric problems so severe that it is likely there is no way this person can be rehabilitated.

It is likely such a person needs to be locked up in a forensic psychiatric unit before becoming a danger to society as a whole. We can understand better the sicknesses of our physical bodies, in some degree most of us can at least relate to things like heart attacks, cancer, but we generally have a lot of trouble relating to anyone so severely damaged in their minds. Our own revulsion often prevents us from asking how do people become like this?

The mind is vastly unknown and a cure for this sort of thing often seems to be beyond medical science. I imagine the person responsible never asked when he/she was born to become the monster that they have become anymore than anyone asks to end up with cancer.

I wish there was a way to end such sicknesses of the mind, thus putting an end to such suffering for others be they pets or humans that these people perpetrate. Some of these people even begin their own cycles of violence, passing it on to another generation perhaps.

One thinks first of the victim. the dog or child or wife or other animal that often falls prey to such people. We want to lash out at the perpetrator and we will often say that they are not truly human. Unhappily they are a part of humanity, part of the darker side that most of us don't ever want to know because we will never have that illness in the mind and we cannot even relate.

These kind of people for the most part simply evokes a primal fear in our souls because who knows when someone like that could lash out at you or me or one of our pets or a wild animal just minding its own business. It may satisfy our anger to mete out similar revenge, but I hope one day medical science finds a cure for this kind of madness, just as I hope medical science finds a cure for the physical ailments like cancer that cause suffering. Sadly, at the moment there are no cures for either and more suffering at the hands of such people will continue. Perhaps it is easier for some just to consider these people as a version of human garbage and put them through a garbage disposal and end their threat once and for all, but one day I hope medicine can find a cure and end such tragedies before they even start. At the moment, this is far beyond our capabilities.

Find the bastard filth and torture them to death - what right do these despicable sub humans still have to breathe the same air as we do. I am sick to death of this sadistic cruelty. An eye for an eye is how it should be done.
