According to PCRM, there are now only four accredited medical schools left that continue to use live animals to teach students. The PCRM site has the petitions to sign.

"The PCRM is an extreme animal-rights group and not a mainstream medical or nutrition organization. This group fronts for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PeTA) in hopes of lending some credibility to their extreme agenda. The PCRM also maintains a close relationship with the violent Animal Liberation Front, Earth Liberation Front, and SHAC. They seek to remove eggs, milk, meat, and seafood from the American diet, and to eliminate the use of animals in scientific research. The PCRM is on a mission to fool much of the general public into believing in the superiority of purely vegetarian diets."
