Twenty bulls have been "liberated" from the town of Tordesillas in northern Spain on the eve of a controversial festival in which the whole town hunts down a single animal with spears.

So FANTASTIC! More awareness the better. I wonder if these poor Bulls can hide out in peace somewhere far away from these sadists. Thx Kelly

Fantastic News!! Hurray for the activists who took a stand against this horrific cruelty by letting these bulls go free and depriving these terrible sadists the pleasure of tormenting and torturing another bull! I'm so proud of them. Maybe this will encourage more activists and the Spanish people, too, to take a stand against Spain's terrible cruelty to bulls in their depraved festivals and just not let it happen either by taking more of these bulls or guarding the bulls against such cruelty. There is strength in numbers! And as more Spanish people realize that animals have a rights too- to be able to live their lives out without being tortured and treated so inhumanely- then these bloody awful festivals victimizing bulls will all come to an end! Thanks Kelly for posting this very hopeful story! I love to hear about stories where the good guys finally win over the bad guys and rescue the innocent animals! Bravo for the activists!

Thanks for sharing this. I'd love to show this to all those who say that activism can't change barbarism and cruelty. Three cheers for the activists and the bulls! Ole, indeed.
