A group of physicians is filing a lawsuit against Detroit's Wayne State University for using dogs in heart experiments that have no scientific or medical value, and only cause the dogs pain and early deaths. Rogue, one of the many dogs to live a short

This is just vile! There is NO WAY to avoid financing animal experimentation when your tax dollars are spent for it. No matter what we do, we all remain guilty.

This is among the most brutal and unnecessary animal torture ever done in the name of "medicine" and it yields nothing of value to human life or knowledge! Shame, shame, shame on the cruel, heartless, selfish experimenters whose desire has always been for federal and grant money to line their own pockets.

I hate my tax dollars going towards vivisection, killing of wildlife, round ups of horses and burros. Our politicians usually close their minds to the cruelty and bad science of this animal torture and murder.

The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine has a FB page. There is a post and video there about the protest against this. I am looking for the petition.

Wayne State University: Thanks for the promotion of wasteful experimentation that continues to fuel the republican's lack of belief in science. Your actions contribute to the "stupidity" side of research (to use the term loosely). Stop the stupidity.

Good for these Doctors to go against these researchers who have no regard for life.

As Always the question is: who is gaining what from those exeperimentation? How much money the university or members of the university get for the exeperiments? How did they presented and described there exeperiments to get that money? Who is in charge for control and inspection when public money is required?

People just don't get it. Other methods are available for these experiments. Go torture a robot!!!!

Leave animals out of it. You never asked for their consent, and I'm sure they would never give it
