http://www.banliveexport.com/take_action/tell-the- PM~~THIS IS FOR AUSTRALIANS~Live exporters have had more than enough chances to clean up their act. Every day that live export continues is another day of suffering for animals in this trade.

The problem with our live exports is not coming from our end but from the countries we export to. Apparently we have our own inspectors but they cannot be everywhere at once. Shocking videos of our cattle being slaughtered in overseas abattoirs show shocking and inhumane treatment and I have been sickened. Until we can guarantee the humane treatment of our sheep and cattle then the bans must continue. Cattle producers lose a lot of money and complain, but some are appalled and support the ban. S&N

I share Lonsdale's disgust at the way these animals are treated in middle east countries. These people will not change their method of handling and killing animals. The trade should be discontinued for good .If they must be slaughtered then it should be done in Australia.and the frozen carcases be shipped by air. This is already being done on a small scale .It must be done on a larger scale and the only way of continuing the trade.

Thanks, Kelly. I tried to go to the petition for people outside Australia:

http://forcechange.com/104499/protect-women-from-abuse-and-forced-marriages/

but it said the page couldn't be found. Sorry.
