Hearts United for Animals rescuers had to make a number of seven-hour trips from Nebraska, but they managed to save 117 dogs living in deplorable conditions in two South Dakota puppy mills. Law enforcement wasn't necessary - the owners gave all of them

We can't have too many of these stories, amongst the disgust we all see daily. But it'a s shame we even have to be here as there is a small but cowardly group of evil people who need to be taken down. But thank God for all of you loving people here....

I live in South Dakota and this did not make the news. Not surprised. South Dakota is still the only state where animal cruelty is not a felony. They are currently debating this in Pierre. It better pass and become law, because this is embarrassing.

All puppy mills need to be shut down. Thankfully, now there are two less in South Dakota.

Shut them all down and forbit to the pets shops to shell animals . They perpetuate the problem too I think. There are a lot of poor animals in shelters that waiting for a good home.
