More than 30 pellets were found lodged in the skin of an emaciated dog. "It broke my heart to see that. That is totally unacceptable and cruel. It was devastating," Mills said. Mills is one of the many people working to save this dog's life.

the crimes of some people on animals!! want to stay updated on poor Spike. I wonder about his eyes, and his overall condition.
I want him to be well and find a good, loving home, soon!!!

Thanks goodness he lived thru it and is still a sweet dog! Now it will be harder to rehome him with an eye missing. I hope they find the creeps who did this to him, and put them in jail. I don't understand how people can be so cruel. Thanks Julie.

Mais qu'est-ce que c'est que cela ? Pourquoi agir ainsi ? Je ne comprends absolument pas comment une personne peut tirer un animal pour pratiquer ? Dans quel monde vivons-nous pour lire une nouvelle semblable ? J'ai définitivement énormément de difficulté à comprendre la mentalité des gens qui habitent le Texas... je suis obligée de le dire.

am always amazed to see the amount of abuse certain people can do to a helpless being.. am speechless.. am just happy that the poor baby is alive and in the care of loving people.. i pray he heals well and finds a loving home soon.. love you, poor baby.

If that dog can smell out the culprit, they should shoot him with pellets 30-35 times!! See how he likes it!! And such a beautiful dog! He will have many people trying to adopt him!!
I'm glad he got his rope broken. He may have had to lay there and die if he hadn't!
