signed, and thank you pam, i agree, that nations should be united in stopping the fur trade, and i also believe that everyone would stop buying fur then it would stop the killing of animals for the sale of fur products. but i doubt the fashion industry is going to stop using fur for their designs. too many movie stars, and rich people love the fur wearing. its not needed anymore, we are not cave people, or limited of attire to wear, so the product of fur can be replaced by other beautiful and attractive attire....fur trade does need to STOP!

After years of signing maybe hundreds of petitions, as lot of have done, why is this hell on earth still continuing?

I think maybe its happening because unless the govt's of the western world get involved its not going to change, but the govt's would not dare rock the boat with China or maybe its because they simply don't care.

China will not listen to its own people, so why would it listen to the outside world?

But we cannot give up and all we have are petitions and so we continue to protest though our petitions.

Every time I sign one of these petition I keep saying to my self, if only, if only, if only because I keep imagining that we have an army of animal rights people as big China then we could stop it right now because that is what I think it would take.

Frances Reiss - I'm sure if you look hard enough, you'll find anti-Israel petitions, or if you are so passionate, you could start one.

However, this petition is a civilised and worthwhile plea for citizens the world over to unite against some of the most horrific cruelty on the planet - and your comment is totally irrelevant to this thread.

PS - I promise when (if! ) you post your anti-Israel petition, I won't be so crass as to bring animal cruelty petitions to it!

I have now tried dozens of times over a period of 2 hours to get this petition site to load - simply won't load.
Will try again tomorrow Pam. I've signed every petition on the internet I can find regarding this horrific practise.

BOYCOTT ANY AND ALL GOODS FROM CHINA. IF THE WORLD DOES NOT HAVE THE WILL TO BREAK THEM ECONOMICALLY BECAUSE OF THIS BARBARITY THEY WILL JUST SPIT ON OUR PETITIONS - WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

I have been fighting this cause for over 30 years. Will it ever end in my life time ? God I do hope so. Tradition is so very hard to break but this is one that must be broken. I could not watch the footage ( I have seen it before & it will forever haunt me )
