Untill there is a proven treatment for this disgusting perversion, I believe all pedophiles should remain incarcerated to protect the innocent lives of children who will be shattered by this forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Totally agree with incarcenration as a means of prevention. After the fact however, harsher punishment should be dealt. This is not an issue of rehabilitation. Our main concern should be to the protection of the children.

Pedophiles can not be cured through counseling, imprisonment, fines or even hospital stays. There is only one way that has had any impact: chemical castration. Drastic? Oh, my, YES! Even then some will use objects as the turn on for them is the taking of innocence, rage, and pain to their victims. Still, I choose this over the damage to children whose predators allow them to survive to exact mental pain on them the rest of their lives, not to mention those who take the life of their innocent prey.
