The engineering senior government sources told the right of a modern bridge that is threatened with collapse at any moment, flooding half the city of Baghdad and other cities located on the Euphrates River basin, on the background of large cracks in the body of the dam still Athoudy the necessary attention of the competent authorities.

A reporter in Anbar, the right of a specialized team of engineers and researchers in the field of building dams to fill the Qadisiyah province of Anbar in western Iraq in order to examine and inspect the cracks and cracks appearing on the body of the dam, which threatens to collapse at any moment ..

, Said Mohamed Gomaa, a senior engineer in the research team, said that the dam is large cracks in the body, which makes raising the level of the lake to the level of risk is very high on the lives of many of the cities affected by the collapse in the event ..

2003. Juma said that the American forces are the reason behind what happened to fill the Qadisiyah also known as a modern bridge after the bombing Bakcefp and nearby areas were strongly in the first days of the invasion of Iraq in 2003.

He warned a senior engineer in the research team that exceeds the current storage capacity of the dam of five million cubic meters of water, which represents approximately forty percent of the total capacity of the dam, which amounts to eleven million cubic meters, could lead to a full collapse is a major threat can not be described, stressing The lack of water storage of the orders affected the size of the U.S. electric power produced by the dam, after a number of Alturbaynat work.

The Engineer Mohamed Gomaa said the current circumstances in Iraq make it difficult to deal with the difficulty of bridging the Qadisiyah result of Russian companies to enter Iraq, which is the establishment of the dam at the end of the seventies and early eighties of the last century.

The Al-Juma, in the event that Qadisiyah bridge to collapse, half will go to Baghdad along with dozens of other cities deployed on both sides of the Euphrates River.

Idon't know what to say Uhoud. The uSA has and continues to commit terible atrocities, much worse than Hitler ever did. The whole world is standing by and does nothing.

I suggest writing to President Obama, and to the Pentagon, the Secretary of Defense or the Army Corps of Engineers {nothing possible until after Jan. 20th, of course!}.
American companies went in and looted Iraq and tried to take over all its industry to make money for themselves. Iraq USED to be a modern nation; it had close industrial ties with France and Russia, closer ties to European industrial concerns than to American ones. The greed of American companies, knows no bounds. Unfortunately, the greed of the American companies, has only been matched by their TOTAL INCOMPETENCE; both in Iraq, and at home. Iraq was of course MUCH BETTER OFF with OTHER technology {its measurement systems, etc., were based more on EUROPEAN than American models}. Americans are so narrowly-educated {it isn't their fault!}, that they are SURPRISED to think that technology even EXISTS outside of America! Iraq used to be a MODERN country; the U.S. has literally "bombed it back into the Stone Age". For NO REASON. Iraq NEVER ATTACKED US AND POSED NO THREAT WHATSOEVER TO US. We just went ahead and bombed them BECAUSE WE COULD.

AMERICAN SOLDIERS OUGHT TO REVOLT AGAINST THEIR OWN MIS-GOVERNMENT; if the Obama Administration does not KEEP its promise to leave Iraq! That is what Tom Cruse's character, von Stauffenburg, does in the film, "VALKYRIE". He leads a REVOLT of German officers against Hitler, aiming to end the war and END THE TORTURE IN THE PRISON CAMPS.
The Obama Administration will OWE THE IRAQI PEOPLE REPARATIONS FOR RE-CONSTRUCTION; but it must PAY THESE TO THE IRAQI PEOPLE THEMSELVES; NOT to such greedy and INCOMPETENT concerns, as Halliburton, KBR, Blackwater, etc. Those faces of America abroad are the SHAME of America. The Iraqi people must be totally free to spend the money owed them, on their OWN real priorities and suppliers.

BMutiny ~ WOW!!! What an education!!! A little research shows that many innovations of man were created in Iraq. This is, after all, the Cradle of Civilization. We owe much to Iraq, physically and in appreciation.

Not only is America undereducated, we lost ground for the past 8 years under Bush, we have a long road ahead to get the nation competitive with the world and up to speed.

Thanks for the brief on Valkyrie. Now I must see it. All Americans should be ashamed of what was done to Iraq.

Write to Obama's Transition Team

I'm sure Obama's new White House website will include the various departments, including the Pentagon, Secretary of Defense and Army Corps of Engineers that BMutiny mentioned above. I'm also sure these departments will effectively READ and RESPOND to our requests - something not done for the past 8 years.

I agree with you 100%, BMutiny. We should feel much shame. Unfortunately not everyone knows about this. Worse, many who do know do not care. Another piece of the mandala of pain we cause. Thank you, and, so sorry, Uhoud.

Excellent idea, Suzanne. The oil companies AND the Bushies need to be held accountable for the devastation and destruction.

Like Amena, I agree BMutiny. Americans are grossly uneducated and uncaring. To most, it seems there is us (Ironic, us/US) and them. But really, we are over here "it seems" while most of the rest of the world is over there.

It is unfortunate that most Americans are so uninformed and absorbed in the idiotic news that is channeled here.

It is also unfortunate that most Americans object to talking about world issues, probably because they are soooooo uneducated as well as disinterested. They don't even care about their own government much less how their actions/purchasing habits affect the rest of the world---the peoples, animals, nor the environment.

To sum it up. They simply don't care. Sorry to say. They get really offended when you DO try to educate them and engage in a discussion. A very selfish, discompassionate, ignorant country this is. I don't know about the rest of the people's of the world...but conversing with most people here is really boring due to ignorance and selfishness.

I have noticed that people who have traveled outside the US or are from another country do care and are willing to engage in a conversation.

The media puts so much fear into people's minds about travel to other countries, so most Americans won't even go outside of the US, Caribean, Canada or Mexico....if they travel at all!

Also, now there has been attention that Obama should intervene in the genocide in Darfur. George Bush is calling the 300,000 deaths there a genocide. How about the over 1,000,000 Iraq's killed? That is a genocide!! Of course he attempting to distract everyone's attention from that. Most people don't even know that figure!! Not even 5,000 Americans have died due to Iraq!!

Bush and the Bush Administration all need to be tried AND found guilty of war crimes!!

Who is going to do it though?
