U.S. soldier committed suicide after the gun shot and saw a party of torture (naked) to Iraqi prisoners, the investigators threatened them with the elimination of manhood. Say (David Randall) editor of The Independent newspaper: It is likely to be one of the victims of a policy of torture in the United States, a religious woman from Arizona called (Alicia Peterson). . U.S. soldier that was not only harsh interrogation methods used by the U.S. military with Iraqi prisoners, is deeply disturbed by it.

He adds: After weeks of protests against the torture of this review when the officials charged with the task of another student, opened fire from the gun and killed herself. Then remained the cause of her death a secret for two years, and (puzzle), which I saw (Alicia) in the party of torture, and the contents of the notes that she wrote, are still secret until now!. The (Randall) that the American soldiers who died because of torture or committed suicide may have more of those killed in bombings in New York on 11 September. And tells the British newspaper, saying some aspects of the story: That was in September 2003, the airbase in Tal Afar, near Mosul. Were recruited in specialized (Alicia) on duty with the military intelligence unit of the 101 Airborne, and the interrogation methods were very different from the truth, which defined and (Alicia) Arabic-speaking, had been appointed to work in the interrogation sessions Kmtorgomp unit called the (cage)!. After two nights only refused to accept the presence of any hearing. The second re-placement. On 15 September the same transition Bbndeghitha. It was found near the body of the type of recording device (Note Bock), but I wiped all of its contents may be to avoid an official investigation later.

Continued to lie by telling her that she was in Arizona with a non-hostile. This is defined only after a reporter from the Arizona name (Kevin Alston), who knew that (Alicia Peterson) had killed herself. The military refused to say a series of reference of any method of interrogation objected to it, or disclosure of the documents used in Tal Afar, and smashed. In Mosul, also told the former soldier Caela Williams, who had told CNN that there are prisoners being tortured Bjmrat cigarettes.

He (Randall) and investigators Ieron removing gangs from their eyes, and the first thing they see. Suppose then that we reduce the threats Nkhaddahm (manhood). We have buried (Alicia) Blakestev in a cemetery in the city inhabited by her family.

I find it shockingly sad that these poor souls and the soldiers are subjected to these horrific scenes/tortures - torture of another being is absolutely deplorable and totally unacceptable!!! This is what war and greed does to decent human beings - there are many soldiers in the US Army that do not adhere to this shocking torture as is proved by this soldier committing suicide - my heart goes out to all peoples suffering the horrific times of war.
Peace & Harmony. Thanx Uhoud for the post

I called my Government Leaders, wrote letters, I tried to have my voice heard, no to going to Iraq. I could not see a reason to do so, not the reason that was being pushed upon us. Other Governments like France and Germany kept telling Bush, they did not have same evidence he claimed to have for reason to go into Iraq. Is so sad, look at this big mess, so many lives lost all for what?

Most of our soldiers are young men and women...many from poor families. The Recruiters go into the schools while the our sons and daughters are very young, they are promised job where jobs are hard to come by, they are promised they will do good things, they will travel and see the world. To a young person who has not traveled, who does not understand the whole picture of war and what war does it seems like a good idea. Of coarse even when the young person may ask such a thing, the Recruiter is educated how to put a positive spin onto it, so again the youth thinks he is doing a good thing. Once they have signed their name onto the dotted line this young person is now owned by the military. Even when they realize they made mistake, they must serve and finish the contract with their time they signed for.

So many of our young men and women are now walking around with their minds in pain from things they saw or did that torment them forever. If they do not kill themselves quickly like this woman they kill themselves over time, with alcohol, drug abuse, broken marriages, and may still end up committing suicide. Many become the people we will see homeless on our streets never fitting back into society. But Bush and all those who sent these young people to war will never care, will never do anything to help them. In fact our Officials will try very hard to not help them so that they are not held responsible for what was done to these soldiers. The Officials will deny that the war did that to them, or that they even have problem...so these former soldiers suffer with no medical care.

Most of our soldiers are very young kind and decent people who while still were growing mentally, barely an adult, are taught to kill. Is it no wonder that bad things happen by some of them, they are told to obey orders without question, they had just been raised by their parents to obey the rules of this Country and of society...they have not lived long enough to figure it all out when they are thrust into some foreign land, without family, at young ages, and then are exposed to the unthinkable.

That being said, the many who suffer in Iraq is also so sad and terrible. It pains me as a Mother to think of young children just trying to go to school, a Mother just going to market to buy food for her family, a man trying to earn enough money to feed his family, and all have to daily wonder, will I be shot today? Will I be blown up today? Will my house be bombed while I sleep, if I can sleep? The daily horrors that their children have witnessed and suffered, what negative impact will that have on their society and nation for years to come. The parents who now moarn their children. Having a war raging around you has to be one of the most horrific conditions to try to survive through.

I'm so tired of these Leaders jumping into wars and more wars. War should never be entered into lightly or quickly and I find that this is happening too often. War should never be the first answer to problems.

The "purpose" of torture, is NEVER to "gather information". That is a COMPLETE MYTH AND LIE. Any "information" gathered by torture, is by its nature MORE LIKELY TO BE FALSE, THAN TRUE; more likely to be EXACTLY WHAT THE TORTURER GOVERNMENT HAS ALREADY MADE UP ITS MIND IT WANTS TO HEAR. It can NEVER, EVER BE RELIED ON, TO BE THE TRUTH.

My Uncle was an Army Interrogator of German prisoners during WWII; and torture was NEVER used, or even thought of. The interrogators wanted REAL information; therefore, they treated the prisoners decently.

George Washington himself, INSISTED THAT ALL BRITISH PRISONERS TAKEN, BE TREATED WITH DECENCY; and General George Washington stated, that if any American soldier were so "base" {his word} as to harm a prisoner, then any punishment up to and including the Death Penalty, would not be too strong for such an act. That's what our Country's Founder said on the subject. You can look it up.

The same principles that informed the American Revolutionary Army under the command of General Washington, informed an AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES WHICH SPECIFICALLY PROHIBITS TORTURING. Most soldiers, at least those of officer rank, have heard of this at some time or another.

These prisoners were tortured, FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUPPLYING THE BUSH/CHENEY REGIME with PHONEY STORIES meant to "justify" the incursion into Iraq. Another purpose, is to TERRORIZE THE IRAQI POPULACE; and other populations all over the world, that might want to resist American domination and occupation. In the latter instance, it OBVIOUSLY DOES NOT WORK; but only makes people ANGRIER and resistance MORE JUSTIFIED AND STRONGER. All those men and women and CHILDREN, even, who were tortured -- young boys, even! -- have family and relatives, friends and neighbors, tribal and village members who now, more than ever, get into a vengeful mode of thinking.

The people who did the torturing, and, even more, those at the Top who ORDERED the torturing, NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED. NOW. As do those who, as in the instance of the principled young woman who committed suicide because she could not live with what she saw and experienced, participated in TRYING TO COVER UP THE WHOLE MESS AND SWEEP IT ALL UNDER THE RUG.

We can NEVER "move forward", and NEVER ensure that this DOES NOT HAPPEN AGAIN, unless we BRING OUT THE TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH, no matter how painful. President Obama needs to be pressured, especially by the American public, to OPEN SUCH INVESTIGATIONS, NOW. Anything else, would be too much complicit in a Crime Against Humanity.

A few years ago, I personally spoke to a young woman at the University of Washington, whom I met at an anti-war program held on the campus of the University; she was in the Army and about to be deployed to Iraq. She had trained as a LINGUIST {translator}; but the Army was assigning her as an INTERROGATOR {not the same thing!}. She was trying to get her assignment changed; as it was NOT what she had been trained for. {Lotsa luck!}

This young woman told me, that if she did NOT get her assignment changed, then she would go AWOL {be Absent Without Leave}, and NOT DEPLOY WITH HER UNIT. She said she would NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE AN INTERROGATOR. I assume that she DID go AWOL -- I never saw her again, tho that's not surprising. Such soldiers who go AWOL, sometimes go on the "underground railroad" to Canada; or, they are hidden by friends or family, or go to an Army prison if they are caught.

This young woman, obviously ALSO a soldier with clear values, was probably saved from suicide herself, if she made such a decision. {Some anti-war soldiers, or those who tried to "blow the whistle" and reveal immoral practices, have been MURDERED by the Army, and it was MADE to look like "suicide". That is ANOTHER possible fate. That could have been the case in the instance of Alicia Peterson as well.....}

NOW THE U.S. HAS NO LEG TO STAND ON, TO CONDEMN THIS:
MEMBER OF ABU DHABI ROYAL FAMILY{!} SHOWN ON TAPE{S} TORTURING FOR FUN AND FOR REVENGE. CNN News.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A videotape of a heinous torture session is delaying the ratification of a civil nuclear deal between the United Arab Emirates and the United States, senior U.S. officials familiar with the case said.

In the tape, an Afghan grain dealer is seen being tortured by a member of the royal family of Abu Dhabi, one of the UAE's seven emirates.

The senior U.S. officials said the administration has held off on the ratification process because it believes sensitivities over the story can hurt its passage. The tape emerged in a federal civil lawsuit filed in Houston, Texas, by Bassam Nabulsi, a U.S. citizen, against Sheikh Issa bin Zayed al Nahyan. Former business partners, the men had a falling out, in part over the tape. In a statement to CNN, the sheikh's U.S. attorney said Nabulsi is using the videotape to influence the court over a business dispute.

The civil nuclear agreement was signed in January between the United Arab Emirates and the Bush administration, but after the new administration took office, the deal had to be recertified. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton recently signed the document and sent it to President Obama for his signature. It should have reached Capitol Hill by now, the senior U.S. officials say, but Obama hasn't yet signed it. And officials say it deliberately has not yet been sent to Congress for ratification.

"It's being temporarily held up because of that tape," one senior official said.
[The article goes on to say, that MORE tapes showing the Sheikh torturing OTHER people, may surface! A real Royal SADIST! THESE are the Oil Sheikhs we are doing business with! Officially, as a govt!]
[Yes, and there's ALSO the question of OUR GOVT OFFICIALLY GIVING THESE GUYS NUCLEAR POWER INFO SO THEY CAN BUILD NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS..... EXACTLY what we are DENYING to IRAN......!!!]

Thank you, Uhoud, and kudos to Dandelion and BMutiny.

Torture is a crime - whether perpetuated on Iraqi Sh'ite militia in Sadr City OR on Iraqi lesbians and gays.
