They are heartless what else can be said. With the new tax breaks to the most wealthy they have to cut out a lot of programs, so they'll not keep this in place. They must pay for their tax breaks.

Remember those old movies made in Black and White film? With Timmy on his crutches and Scrooge. The ghosts of Christmas past and all those movies that pulled at the heart strings. Those were reminders to the people don't let it happen again.

But we enjoyed a bit of wealth, many people did during the 50's, 60's and early 70's after the war years. Unlike today, the generation that fought WWII was rewarded. The help to go to College at low cost or free, the loans to buy a little starter home sold at reasonable costs, taxes on the wealthy was at 90% now they are getting it down to 21% and with their loopholes many don't even pay that.

I recall being a child in the 50's and 60's and although my Mother worked as an unskilled employee in the factories there was still upward mobility if you went to work and saved your money. We lived in a 3rd floor attic when I was real young and she had no car, but by the time I was 10 she had moved to a nicer apt with a yard and had bought her first new car. By the time I was 12 she had paid off her washer and dryer and in that same job was able to turn her car in every 3 years for a newer vehicle.

Mom never made big money in her days, but the way everything was structured it was "doable". We ate well, even could do a high end cut of meat or a lobster here or there, I was able to go to the movies each Sat., and we had a modest roof to live under. Those jobs are no longer even here, shipped out to China or wherever. It's equal today would be flipping burgers at some chain or working at some big box store on the bottom rung. Those people can't afford a new car every 3 years and there is no upward mobility to be seen.

So, now we are at the point of removing health care for children, disabled, and the Elders, and many work for starvation wages. DC is NOT going to help you, and it will take years to get in the correct Candidates to make the BIG changes we need. I'm afraid at this point we are going to have to go into the streets, a lot to DEMAND what is needed. Everyone will have to stand together, get beyond this divide and conquer where we are right now.

Oh yes, I signed. Also there is a lot of push about the bad Republicans, and they are, but remember, lots of this also happened under the Democrats, and the Dem's are a big one pushing this censorship right now, which is hitting hard the Progressive voices. So don't be fooled by either Party.

Paul Ryan has been on sucking on the government teat since he was in high school. He is very jealous and hypocritical of anyone else that would need public assistance. Paul Ryan's family business of heavy construction receives no-bid contracts from the government.

Paul Ryan is a lying, hypocritical weasel; Paul Ryan is more than willing to take from everyone else in order to fatten his own pocketbook.

That this despicable being, Paul Ryan, would use our children as a political bargaining chip speaks volumes about his lack of decent character.
