Thank you these are good ideas. My family has been reusing cardboard boxes for years, especially since we have to move a lot.

More people need to become aware of the benefits of re-using and recycling. I flatten out boxes of several sizes to mail gifts

An artist friend of mine (who has a very classy home) cuts and bunches these, wiggly parts up where it's laminated and puts them under a long heavy glass table. The effect is beautiful and no one would know it was just
from cardboard boxes!

Maybe if we all minimise our cardboard waste there will be more room for disadvantaged people? I keep remembering that song where the singer hopes for his gifts to come in a big box so the family will be able to use the box for shelter...

Governments that do not offer recycling as well as people who do NOT recycle are reprehensible. It is so easy and important. DO IT!

With blueboxes it's easy to forget that one of the 4 Rs, before recycling, is to reuse. I think this article on cardboard is a great example that one product can be reused for so many things before it needs to find its end at the recycler. Excellent!!

My cats use cardboard boxes for hiding holes, scratching posts, and perches (if we set it up that way). I also use them for cake trays when I give cakes as gifts during the holidays so I don't lose pans or my serving trays after the cats have had their way with them, of course :) Though some of the ideas listed here I hadn't thought of, so I learned something new today ;)

Thanks Agnes!

Awesome Agnes...! If you give a kid a cardboard box, they will play with that more than the expensive toy you buy them........ The same with pets when it comes to card board boxes.
