Thanks Agnes...couldn't get the tips to come up. Gardening is my main hobby but just about everything I do involves bending. I have to do yoga and exercises after gardening to try and compensate...and see a chiropractor regularly. I think the only pain free way to garden is to have someone else do all the work!

One thing that I found handy was a foam flotation device made for swimming. Off-season they cost about a dollar and are excellent for kneeling on.
