Scientists Solve the Mystery of Why Global Warming and Melting Has INCREASED Ice Around Antarctica

Science & Tech  (tags: Scientists solve the mystery of why glob )

Global warming is expanding the extent of sea ice around Antarctica, researchers have revealed. They say in winter a shift is caused by cold plumes of summer melt water that re-freeze fast when temperatures drop.

Watch out the GOP will say they is no global warming because there is more ice. They love over simplification and 20 second sound bites. This explanation makes perfect sense that there may be ice but it has no density and is coming from quick freeze of warmer water under the ice. Thanks Agnes

Wouldn't it be cool to see what's hidden beneath the ice though? I suspect there's at least one city and a trove of archaeological finds that will change our perspectives.
