"Porn" certainly is a problem, and not a small one, that ought to be dealt with

"The [US] porn industry [is] now bigger than Hollywood and pro sports combined." -- Douglas Haddow in ADBUSTERS #83, June 2009
"Study [of effects of IN porn] stymied by lack of IN porn newbies" "Guys who do not watch ponography don't exist." -- Simon Lajeunesse, PhD (couldn't find a control group!)
-- -- quoted in The Great Porn Experiment: Gary Wilson at TEDxGlasgow

another angle on this problem:
"porn" is a toxic mimic of sex
toxic mimics only thrive after the original, true 'thing' has been destroyed (defamed/perverted/...)
" It is essential that we raise the image of sex, which is currently seen as a purely biological affair and often portrayed in its worst manifestations [and is being commercially exploited and hugely defiled], to that of a spiritually based activity. "
-- Dr. Stanislav Grof in 'The Cosmic Game - Explorations of the Frontiers of Human Consciousness' N.Y. 1997
