Yes, Earth Mother is angry and so am I -
Remember that silly margarine commerical "you can't fool with Mother Nature"? In the end, the earth will prevail - I just hope she gets Bush and Co. first so we can all watch.

If only the practice of the Native people had been done by all.... Taking only what they need and putting back as much as you can... I am so proud to be part Cherokee...

Isn't it true that Native Americans use to consider at least 7 generations ahead of themselves before doing anything to the land or animals?

This generation of people can't even consider the generation that is living now. If every one took consideration of the generations of people ahead of themselves maybe we could all take better care of the planet. We need our environment to last for generations to come.

i think we all worldwide need the native and aboriginal grandmothers to be worldleaders, they lived in harmony with mother earth and in democracy for at least 60. 000 years and they are woman, lifegivers, not like the white people who got their original history stolen by the christian church, by liars, by emporors who changed historian facts ( like the christian church did also everywhere they went) and abused women and their wisdom and knowledge throughout history, but of course these history liars have always been men!!!

I think native Americans have an intuitive nature about things like global and climate changes. I think it has been handed down from generation to generation. They respect the earth. We could learn a great deal from them and protecting our planet is certainly one of them. The EPA should be filled with Native Americans!
