In Bill Gates, Monsanto also has one of the wealthiest and most influential "philanthropists" supporting their agenda and spreading misleading propaganda about their products.

Gates supports the use of Golden Rice, which has been genetically modified to produce beta-carotene that your body can convert to vitamin A. Itís promoted as a way to alleviate vitamin A deficiency, which is common in developing countries. However, beta carotene is fat soluble, and many third-world inhabitants eat a very low-fat diet, which would seriously impede or block the conversion.
According to one study, a woman would have to consume 16 pounds of Golden Rice per day to get the recommended amount of vitamin A; a child would have to eat 12 pounds, raising serious doubts about the usefulness of this invention

Phillipines Don't want GMOs or US Bases........

"Golden rice is a Trojan horse for pushing through GE-friendly biosafety regulations under the guise of humanitarian aid. Once in place, these regulations open the door for the biotech industry to bring in commercial, patented GE crops; USAID and Monsanto accomplished exactly this in Kenya with their sweet potato project."

In Thailand at least, however, a little known and unpublicized agricultural policy protects Thai rice from the risks of GMO's. The Thai Ministry of Agriculture's "Rice Strategy" is a master plan committed to strengthening the nation's rice production while promoting farmers' livelihoods and consumer confidence -- which includes keeping Thai rice GMO (genetically modified organism)-free..........

However if the Thai uprising succeeds in a change of Government....Smell something? Soros ?

It is difficult to trust anything to do with GMO/Seeds of Destruction over organically grown natural food which Nature intended. If Monsanto is so good for us, why do they spend so many millions in lobbying against labelling GMO foods?

Also wonder if GMOs so sfae why do they not do proper testing and let the results be widely known, not hidden away, and/or the labs/testers threatened...What is Monsanto, and its cronies, hiding? Why the lies??

Thank you for sharing this. RT had an excellent documentary on the golden rice and Bill Gates was noted clearly as an interest in Monsanto.

What I can't understand is how Gates could be so stupid. You would think with all his money he would have investigated and found out how bad those seeds are for the farmers, humans and animals.
