AIG has taken billions of our money, now they're giving it out in bonuses to the idiots that got us into this mess!- Help us throw 1 million tomatoes at AIG for their greed, then sign the petition demanding that Congress take our money back!

So the HOuse voted a 90$ tax n it, but the Senate is at present weaker.
Kyl from Arizona is a majorly corrupt senator attempting to prevent recouping of the fat cat cash.
How do such get elected? Is it that the vast majority of the Arizona population are ignorant, selfish, corrupt, warmongers? Or are they merely ignorant, selfish, corrupt warmongers?

Dear MoveOn member,

Y'know, the AIG million-dollar bonuses being paid out with our taxpayer money got me mad enough to, well, throw something.

So MoveOn member Kris Khoury helped us whip up a game that does just that!

It's called "The Great AIG Tomato Toss," and it's oddly addictive. We should stop throwing money at the people who ruined our economy—and start throwing (virtual) tomatoes. Play it here!...(visit site)

It's a fun game, but it's got a serious purpose: to get the outrageous AIG bonus money back. When you play the game, you can also sign our petition to demand the return of the bonus money. The more people who play the game, the more signatures we'll be able to deliver to congress. 300,000 of us have signed already, and we're shooting for 400,000...

So check out the game, pass it on, and then sign the petition if you haven't already. Together, we're going to get some justice from the people who played a role in creating this whole financial crisis in the first place—even if it that call for justice starts with a single, juicy, digital tomato.

Very cool website, David!
I tossed 40 tomatoes at them.
It's very nice to see an Aussie
helping Americans to protest AIG,
which by the way, stands for "Arrogance,
Incompetence and Greed".
Thanks, matey!

Was very heartened today to see in the news, a group of women with signs, "harassing" some CEO about wanting their AIG money back. Looks like people are not as passively accepting as they used to be.

Not a problem Tim...We have our own similar problems...But delighted to hear that our tiny governmaent has passed? into law a bill to limit fleeing CEO's to one years salary on leaving (Without shareholder approval)....It was previously seven years salary and untouchable!...

And yes Barbara...I think the majority of people have finally had enough of the rubbish they previously accepted as the 'norm' and are finally prepared to voice their feelings...Not before time!...

Dude, that's great. Too bad Barnie wasn't in the picture or a few big mouth idiots, "stuff happens" guy or the Johnny Cash wannabe. Or some of our more beloved members of Care2, not mentioning names here wouldn't want to upset anybody. Loads of luv J.C.

AIG now stands for “arrogance, incompetence and greed,” said Rep. Paul Hodes, DN.H. Rep. He got that right. Same situation in Canada where execs of big companies are getting diamond-studded bonus packs but the employees did not even get SEVERANCE PAY.
My view is no CEO or other executive is worth 400 times the average-out salary of a corporation's employees. Bonus packs are supposed to be given to reward those who perform above and beyond job expectations. What happened to that concept??

Well, the goverment now owns 80% ofr AIG. So we the people own 80%. LOL If you own that much of anything you control it. You make them give it back period. Or is that to simple?

I'm sorry, but I'm not mad at AIG or any other company for what they are doing with the FREE Hand Out's Our Elected government officials gave them. I am Mad at the congress of the United States of America for shoving this Bail Out down our throats. What has it accomplished? NOTHING!! and they are getting ready to give them more!! No, I am not mad at AGI I am MAD at the government for not letting AGI fail, as all bad business should. If you need to through thing, throw them at the people who gave them the blank checks.

AIG bonuses $218 million, not $165 million, A.G. says
The Big Takeover --The global economic crisis isn't about money - it's about power. How Wall Street insiders are using the bailout to stage a revolution

Thanks David, i enjoyed throwing the tomatoes, some 100 or so until it jammed and i had to start again. These executives are despicable, unbelievable, unconscionable, greedy, so and so on. The money should be repaid.

I would rather throw tomatoes at the ones who put the provision in the bill to pay the bonuses - Dodd and Geitner. They are the real crooks.
