What we are dealing with is the melting/ burning of metal structures.

“Metals are capable of burning under the right conditions, similarly to the combustion process of wood or gasoline. ... A thermite reaction is a process in which the correct mixture of metallic fuels are combined and ignited. Ignition itself requires extremely high temperatures.”

Readers can reach their own conclusions as to the far-reaching implications of these findings.

Although the authors do not address the broader issue of the 9/11 attacks, their findings have a direct bearing on the likely causes of the collapse of the WTC buildings on September 11, 2001. INTRODUCTION

The destruction of three skyscrapers (WTC 1, 2 and 7) on September 11, 2001 was an immensely tragic catastrophe that not only impacted thousands of people and families directly, due to injury and loss of life, but also provided the motivation for numerous expensive and radical changes in domestic and foreign policy. For these and other reasons, knowing what really happened that fateful day is of grave importance.

A great deal of effort has been put forth by various government-sponsored and -funded investigations, which led, in large part, to the reports released by FEMA [1] and NIST [2]. Other studies of the destruction have been less well publicized but are no less important to the outstanding obligation that remains to the victims of that tragedy, to determine the whole truth of the events of that day [3-10]. A number of these studies have appropriately focused attention on the remaining physical material, and on available photographs and video footage, as sources of evidence still in public hands, relating to the method of destruction of the three skyscrapers.

An Inside job?...Do you seriously doubt that...Did you not notice how impossibly implodingly beautifully the towers collapsed?...Perfect?...Too perfect?...IMPOSSIBLE without pre-loaded explosives!

Yes, the fact that the first 3 steel buildings to collapse in history occurred on 9-11 is very suspicious, especially when you consider building #7.

Dr. Stephen Jones has done experiments showing the bright orange metal pouring from the tower, shortly before collapse, is not aluminum, but steel heated with thermite.

There are dozens of great websites and testimony from MIT professors and architects testifying why the WTT's and building #7 could not collapse from fire and they had to be brought down with explosives and thermite.

Thanx much David for taking up the banner here regarding 9/11.
Perhaps we should do a petition or something to let the Government know that we do not believe the official story.why do some people believe the official story/because to do anything else would require thought and self responsibility. It also would require independent research into the matter which would require a computer and the sad fact is many do not have a computer and many people that do are more interested in what the Hollywood/Music Stars are doing than anything else-also many are just not interested in politics-- thinking that this stuff the government does does not directly impact their life in a way that they can see it. The sad truth is many do not care untill it directly affects them like the wall street collapse and credit card finacial stuff hits home in their bank accounts and by then it is to late and they look to the leaders to solve the problem because either they do not know what to do or they are to lazy and spoiled to do something different.They have been brainwashed by the idea of the American dream rather than being citizens on guard to the keep the dream from becoming a nightmare and as long as they are comfortable and their base needs are taken care of they are not interested in 9/11 truth or any other truth.If U went to the street and asked any one U saw if they believed anything the government says they answer would be no they do not-but ask them what they are going to do about it -they say what can I do anything one does is useless -- so the apathy is strong. People do not realize how powerful they are as a collective voice or the need to keep trying -I have said it before and I will say it again-- whatever happens -even if we do not succeed- it will not be because I sat in apathy doing nothing but whining.

That, PLUS the actual physical evidence of the DUST PARTICLES now found..... hmmmm, yeah. HOW can it be denied, NOW???

A team of scientists claim to have unearthed startling data from dust and debris gathered in the days and weeks after the World Trade Center towers collapsed on Sept. 11, 2001.

In a study published by the Open Chemical Physics Journal -- a peer-reviewed, scientific publication -- Steven E. Jones and Niels Harrit level a stark allegation: that within the dust and rubble of the World Trade Center towers lays evidence of "a highly engineered explosive," contrary to all federal studies of the collapses.

"We have discovered distinctive red/gray chips in all the samples we have studied of the dust produced by the destruction of the World Trade Center," reads the paper's abstract. "One sample was collected by a Manhattan resident about ten minutes after the collapse of the second WTC Tower, two the next day, and a fourth about a week later. The properties of these chips were analyzed using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy (XEDS), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)."

The study, however, shows that the dust was collected from four different sites, three of which were not in the immediate area surrounding the fallen towers. Most of the samples are collections of dust taken from blocks away.

They claim their analysis has uncovered "active thermitic material": a combination of elemental aluminum and iron oxide in a form of thermite known as "nanostructured super-thermite."

Thermite, used in steel welding, fireworks shows, hand grenades and demolition, can produce a chemical reaction known for extremely high temperatures focused in a very small area for a short period of time.

According to the Navy's Small Business Innovation Research, super-thermite "is restricted under the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), which controls the export and import of defense-related material and services."

It means that thermitic material was found in the dust samples. Considering that you will have a thermitic reaction anytime that iron oxide is burned in the presence of aluminum, that's not a surprise. You can find similar material in most warehouse fires.

That is not true Kit, the presence of thermate found in iron spheres is the product of melting iron that is sprayed when liquefied or poured. But it may be true for minute amounts of iron oxide dust burning in the presence of aluminum, but the quantities of dust containing thermate laden iron micro spheres found in the WTT site was enormous and the WTT's did not have rusty iron surfaces.

Iron melts at around 1300 degrees F., but when mixed with about 2% carbon it melts at 2800 degrees F and more carbon means it will withstand up to 3700 degrees before melting. The towers were made of steel that could tolerate about 3200 degrees before melting.

You can't mix iron with aluminum until the steel melts and releases the iron from the carbon bonds. The 9-11 fires could not have gotten hotter than 1300-1500 degrees on the floors that the plane damaged only. That temperature won't melt steel and certainly not on any other floors.

Why did WTT building number 7 come down the same way as 1 and 2 with the same satellite heat signature, when it was NOT hit by a plane?

These were the first steel buildings in history to collapse from fire.

It is a surprise that anyone could argue something isn't true in the face of facts saying it is true. It isn't surprising the most Americans believe the media and political lies of corporate media primed by the government agencies that set the explosives and the bush administration... No conspiracy here, just another FBI and CIA reality fabrication, and anyone who doesn't know that, believes Oswald shot Kennedy and James Earl Ray shot Martin Luther King Jr. So, the "terrorists" brought down the WTT's too isn't a stretch for them either, in fact it is predictable that people will believe what they are told to believe.

Thermite and Superthermite are two very different substances.
It is not easy to make super thermite .

Nanothermite is heavily regulated.

To add to that, I watched a doco showing conclusively that the hole in the Pentagon was too small to accomodate an aircraft of the size claimed...Also there was no trace of passengers, baggage, burnt engines or any substantial trace of proof of anything other than lies, lies and more lies!

interesting,I knew the first time I saw 9/11 on TV,it was impossible for the 2-towers to fall.It's just common sense,but nobody listened to me.Too much fluroide in the tap water I guess.I didn't know about Building-7.
