Members of Congress are not only afraid of losing "health care factory" campaign money for themselves and their party, they also fear that industry will fund candidates to run against them if they support Single-Payer. If Members of Congress are going to do the right thing, they will need a safety net, an alternative source of campaign money - publicly funded elections. Read about the "Fair Elections Now Act", now in Congress, and ask your representatives to co-sponsor....

Healthcare NOT Warfare is not on your agenda?...It really should be, your life is on the line...Maybe not now, but tomorrow is another day?

Surely healthcare for all is simply a human right for all?...To hell with financing illegal, financially bloated, wars...What about you and your foreclosed, and now homeless and bankrupt neighbor?...But for the grace of God go you!...HEALTHCARE FOR ALL NOW!...

I'm all over this one David...thank you so much my friend. This is such an important news article, everyone needs to pay attention to this, because you might be the next person that needs help. Duly noted.

I couldn't agree with you more on HEALTHCARE FOR ALL NOW, I truly wish that the USA would adopt the concept of FREE HEALTHCARE, like other countries do.

Thank you for sharing the video as well, extremely important facts that all should know about.

Writing to my reps today to co-sponsor the "Fair Elections Now Act".

You Rock David for caring so much.

Blessings to all,
FreeSpirit...

This is time Mr president to start change in side America.Remember you have said yes we can change. Can you Sir

Universal Healthcare - Are You With Us or Against Us America, Land of the Free?
I am sure you all have seen Michael Moore's documentary about the Health care in America, Sicko. The fundamental premise of the movie is about the benefits of Universal Health care and the drawbacks of our current non-healthcare for all system.

Senate Report Finds Insurers Wrongfully Charged Consumers Billions
24 Jun 2009 Health insurers have forced consumers to pay billions
of dollars in medical bills that the insurers themselves should
have paid, according to a report released today by the staff of
the Senate Commerce Committee. The report was part of a multi-pronged
assault on the credibility of private insurers by Commerce Committee
Chairman John D. Rockefeller IV (D-W.Va.). It came at a time when
Rockefeller, President Obama and others are seeking to offer a
public alternative to private health plans as part of broad health
reform legislation. Health insurers are doing everything they
can to block the public option.

A nationwide health insurance exchange that includes a Medicare-like government option could save $1.8 trillion more than if only private plans are offered, a prominent private U.S. health policy group said on Wednesday.

Usually the right wing are the haves, the rest the have nots. It is sad to know we live in a country where they don't want us to be healthy. Where the rich can only afford health care. It is kind of like they want their own super race. Get rid of all the normal people, and only let the wealthy have health care, and breed. Well, not while I am living.
