Human experimentation without consent has been prohibited in any setting since 1947, when the Nuremberg Code, which resulted from the prosecution of Nazi doctors, set down 10 sacrosanct principles. The code includes "Consent of subjects essential".

Gee, wouldn't Josef Mengele be proud?
The Special Prosecutor assigned to the
CIA abuse case is going to discover things
that will make our hair curl(if not fall out),
but they're things we need to know, only so
they won't happen again.

Having listened to interviews with ex-CIA operatives, this may be the proverbial "tip of the iceberg", and I don't know how much will truly be uncovered in our lifetimes. Utterly heart-breaking !
