The U.S. would not exactly be dragged into air strikes on Iran, but if "our great ally Israel" decided that it "can't take it anymore" - the Illusionary, media hyped prospect of an Iranian nuclear bomb, then pressure will mount for us to stand by Israel?

This would be the greatest folly for both attacking countries and put them in the wrong.

Iran will get its bomb and threaten everyone around, all the talk of stopping it is BS.

We probably won't be around to stand in and support Israel or anyone for that matter...

At this moment Israel and United States have sent ships to stand side by side in a show of solidarity for the benefit of all the Arab Nations which by the way, these Arab Nations are all supported by the United States in one way or another but none of thm will benefit if Iran goes Nuclear with weapons to threaten all of their neighbors and the United States.

Isreal is waiting out a timebomb and seems oblivious to.it all. The Zionists seem to think that they can continue to build and take away land, defy world opinion and deny the Palestinians. They think they can be aggressive to others (Old Testament) and others will not be aggressive in return.(I suppose God is on their side) If Israel was smart and believed in justice she would settle for an equal Palestinian state before someone like Iran or Al Kaida does drop the bomb on them. As an American I resent the shenanigans that Isreal plays with the US and the world and the danger that Israel projects on us.

"Iran will get its bomb and threaten everyone around, all the talk of stopping it is BS"...Good one WC...What's it like living life on the edge of the care2/troll rulebook?

Iran wants nuclear power, not bombs as the US and Israel already have...Iran has stated this on countless occassions...

WHY does anyone doubt the sincerity of Iran statements (despite the US/Israeli media spin?)...

Remember the weapons of mass deception?...What's the diff?...It takes a lot of lies to start a war!...Even more lies to condemn the only unarmed country of three, the only one that is not at and hasn't been at war with anyone for decades.

Israel needs better proof proof of Iranian nukes than Bush had of Iraqi WMDs. I'm not convinced Israel has gone to the trouble of convincing Obama of their veracity, presuming Rahm could influence well enough. They'll need to convince a bunch of skeptical Democrats. Israel lost a powerful ally in Ted Kennedy who was all too willing to pursue the vendetta against Palestine Sirhan Sirhan started.

WC Sorry I mean Wild Cat. I know you don't like the way i am going to comment but I realy don't care you like it or not.
1 - Iraq's weapons of mass destruction proved to be the biggest lie commited by G.W.Bush and company Limited .
2 - The same administration started what may be an other big lie namely Iran's atomic bomb.
3 - Iran allowes IAEA inspectors to inspect her facilities while Israel, backed and supported by USA,refuses to enable those inspectors to inspect her facilities.
4 - Iran signed the International agreement in this respect.Israel didn't.

SO WHO IS TO BE BLAMED ? THE LIARS OR THE VICTIMS?

5 - The chief of IAEA declared several time that the inspection of Iran's nuclear facilities doesn't show any atomic military activity.
6 - Iran agreed few days ago to sign an agreement with the IAEA to deliver her enriched uranium .......etc.
7 - Israelis met secetly with Iranian officials in Cairo,Egypt and discused this topic but the stupid Israeli media destroyed this effort by making it public before the proper time.
8 - If Israel attackes Iran with or without USA it will be a hell. Both USA and Israel will be held respnsible for any more violence or unrest in the Middle East.
9 - Israel will regret this for generations to come.
10 - I hope that Obama administration will be smart enough not only to forget any military action by itself but also to be wise enough and give INSTRUCTION to Israel to forget any military attack against Iran. And I mean the word INSTRUCTIONS .

I hope it is clear.

Abdes, I have nothing against your comments, they are clear.

I just believe Iranians do pursue Atomic bomb - otherwise they weren't hiding nuclear plants and let inspectors do the checks they need.

Ahmadinejad said Iran has a right to have a bomb and Iran will destroy Israel. David, I DON'T "doubt the sincerity of Iran statements" and expect him NOT to waste such words for nothing.

If Iran will use the bomb on Israel - is a valid question for both Israel, Egypt, Jordan and PA. Simply, because the dirty clouds will be shared between the neighbours, and you Abdes may get a portion of it. But that's not the point.

In the world of weak American leadership and many strong players, Iran will get its bomb. Israel cannot attack alone because the Iranian program was designed very well and there are many nuke plants in Iran. That's why I say that all the talk about Israeli attack is BS.

Iran,if ever has a bomb, can't use it against Israel because it will hurt others close to Israel including her friends in Syria and Lebanon. However,Iran doesn't have one while Israel might be possessing some. All nations have the right to have their own peaceful nuclear program including Israel but all nuclear facilities must be under IAEA inspection.

Abdes, Ahmadinejad doesn't care about Iranians as much as he hates and wants to destroy Israel at all cost, he said it some time ago. I believe he can press a button, no matter what his friends in Lebanon and Syria (Hezbola), and his no-friends in Egypt and I don't know who in PA/Gaza will say about him after.

Abdes, do you know how to recognize nuclear mushroom? Get trained, man, it may be coming - nobody can stop Ahmadinejad. May be, Saudis - the only power player left over there - but that's highly unlikely.

Abdes, on a separate note: did you see a movie "The Band Visit" about Egyptians-Israelis? What do you think of it? I liked it.

W C I mean Wild Cat
1- My name is not Abdes. My name is Abdessalam. The part you are omitting of my name (salam)means peace.Do you have a problem writing the word salam?
2- Do you have any explanation why Israel refuses any inspection by IAEA?
3 _ No I didn't watch the movie you mentioned. However a movie is nothing but a movie.I live the reality and observe fact and movements .I comment on actual bases .

Diab,

1. Abdessalam is just too long, and I can't copy and paste it from avatar. Could you please put your nick name? Will Abi pr Abdi do? Salam is OK, just don't see you representing it, at least when it comes to Israel. And what does Abdes mean?

2. Because Israel never said she DOES NOT have nukes;

3. A good movie is a good movie. The main hero, the Egyptian band conductor (a positive hero) resembles your syle a bit, that's why your opinion would be appreciated. But that's OK if you didn't see the movie.
