"In Ausralia invasion is not an invasion if "we" do it. Terror is not terror if "we" do it. A crime is not a crime if "we" commit it. It didn't happen. Even while it was happening it didn't happen. It didn't matter. It was of no interest". Oh really? :-)

"Right as rain"--or at least, as rain USED to be.
Thank you, David. xo
Namaste!

This is a brilliant speech by a great man!
David, he needs to be running your country!
There's nothing I can really add to what
Mr Pilger said, except to add this, and urge it
on everyone reading, the words of Shelley:

Rise like lions after slumber
In unvanquishable number.
Shake your chains to earth like dew.
Which in sleep has fallen on you.
Ye are many – they are few.

Thank you so much, David!

I remember watching John Pilger documentaries as a kid..on British telly..from that time onwards everything I have read of his has been spot on..never more so here.He nearly ended up editting one of our newspapers here in the 80s..what a loss that he didn't.

Pastor Tim..I beleive that poem was written about the Peterloo uprising and eventual massacre of the Chartists, campaigning for democracy to be extended to us Mancunian proletarians.
