Many opponents of the Bush administration's invasion and occupation of Iraq have always argued that this conflict is an irrelevant and even counterproductive sideshow to the real "war on terrorism" in Afghanistan. Now Iran? IMPEACH NOW!

Since the 9/11 attacks, the Bush administration’s formulation of a “war on terror” was always a dangerous one. Not only was this “war” vague and open-ended, it could be used for a variety of other purposes, such as invading Iraq (which had nothing to do with 9/11) and redefining the U.S. Constitution (to create an all-powerful Commander in Chief). Is this a good thing?...IMPEACH WHILE YOU CAN!...This guy is capable of anything and still has some months to ignite all!...

Should have tried to impeach him long time back for starting a war that has nothing to do with 9/11 and for starting a war that have ignited a faire share of the global economic crisis we see today.
The States endured almost eight years under his leadership why not let him be for the remaining few days, to let him have his dignity of a former??

Leave him be??????

For being directly responsible for 4100+ deaths of American military personnel....

Leave him be?

For being directly responsible for the deaths of 1.2 million Iraqis....

Leave him be?

For being directly responsible for illegal wiretapping...

Just...leave him be?

For being directly responsible for ok-ing torture, cessation of Habeas Corpus, indeterminate detention, rendition, politicization of the Justice Department and amassing absolute power in the Executive branch...

And let's not forget his infamous signing statements that give him absolute power...

LEAVE HIM BE????

I think not. The man is not deserving of any dignitas or gravitas of any kind whatsoever. Not now, not ever.

I am hoping that you did not mean what you posted. Or you were being facetious....

I don't WANT Cheney, Bush and all the rest to have their so-called phoney "dignity".

They did not allow DEAD SOLDIERS the dignity of their coffins being noted coming back home; did not allow WOUNDED SOLDIERS the dignity of proper treatment at clean {!} and adequate facilities; did not allow WEDDING PARTIES in Iraq and Afghanistan the dignity of celebrating in peace without being bombed from the air; did not allow TENS OF THOUSANDS of Iraqis the dignity to live, to exist; did not allow PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH BIRTH DEFECTS CAUSED BY DEPLETED URANIUM, the dignity of having healthy babies; did not allow Iraqis the dignity of jobs, of electicity, of infrastructure, of clean air and water, or, the dignity of running their own affairs; did not allow the millions of Iraqi REFUGEES the right to live in peace in their own homes; did not allow Guantanamo and Abu Ghraib prisoners any human dignity at all when they were TORTURED and denied trials, as is still happening; and on and on and on it goes.

WHY should I care about some evil, vicious WAR CRIMINALS' NON-EXISTENT "DIGNITY"? They ALREADY HAVE NONE, in the eyes of the whole world. And in the eyes of anyone with a brain, in the United States.

This is our war OF terrorism. We are at war with anyone who we percieve as a threat to our 'interests.' Anyone includes our own people and our own interests.

Where were these guys 7 years ago? I've been saying from the start that you don't fight terror with troops, you fight terror with intelligence. Unfortunately, that is the one thing sorely lacking in Washington.

I still have one question about 9/11 that hasn't been answered: Where are the planes or parts of planes, the luggage and clothes , seats? Terrorists?
