Examples of hate mail, that Wipe Out Homophobia(FB page) has received. In response to this hate mail, I decided to address this issue by taking a humorous and lighthearted approach to replies.

Now that's a very cool way to handle those troglodyte, knuckle draggers. The guy responding to these twits is taking undue advantage of the morons, he has both intellect and a sense of humor. I may have to jot down a few of those for later use. Thanks Mike, not just a smile, but a bit of the giggles.

When dealing with morons, it's even more funny when you reply to them.

While I enjoyed reading the responses, the truth is that they won't make any difference. In most cases, the homophobic message will be from an anonymous source, so one can't really reply. In the few cases where the homophobe does read the message, it will only enrage him more (it does seem to be mainly males who send this sort of hate mail doesn't it?). I never understood this kind of hate. Seems to me it says more about the hater than the recipient of their venom. I would note one more thing: the hate mail cited seems more literate than most hate mail I've seen. Must have been edited for readability.
