A class action lawsuit has been filed against PayPal Canada on behalf of an Ontario man alleging that the online payments company charges Canadians hidden currency conversion fees, violating its user agreement.

I wouldn't call the fees hidden. Most places that convert currencies add the fee right on the rate. It's usually 3-5 pennies per dollar. Unless, by hidden they mean the don't claim to add anything to the actual exchange rate. I suppose it depends on the wording in the user agreement. I send money to UK frequently and if the exchange rate is $1.32 to the pound I will pay $1.36.

Mmmm I would not be surprised, but even if they did I use paypal to donate to animal causes abroad and over seas.
