Sounds cool 30 yrs ago I used a Heavy Duty Electric Tiller; The Guy I was working as caretaker for had converted a frontine tiller With a 240V 2 hp elect motor it was So Heavy it didn't have any of the Jummping Problems that front tine tillers have No Gas engine vibrations, or Stink..
recently I bought an Old Garden Maid Cultivator it has 2 Rods with a Starter Screw tip and Counter rotating Blades Pointing straight Forward it is Light enough that you can Stand it on end and dig Post holes or Deep Shrub/Tree holes.
I started to Dig the dirt deeper around a 10' tall 2' diameter Rotting Fir Stump that wouldn't Push over it Started Digging into the Tree so I Let it; It Cut away all the sap Wood and When it got to the heartwood it Still wanted to Dig in; I stopped at that Point didn't want to break it first day I had it. The Tree Still woulldn't Push over; but it had cleared away enough; that it Took Just a Few AX Cuts to Pull the Tree over...
What a Great Tool; it Does Much More than the Troy Built; unfortunately They Stoped making them years ago... Next Tiller I get I will Buy an Old Dead Gas Tiller and Put a Large Elct Motor on it as The Big one I used 30 yrs ago was very Powerfull and efffective..
