Does anyone have experience of caring for the least of acceptable felines, let alone any suffering creature who are dying or "not worth" having as pets? These animals that this woman took in has been attacked and robbed of everything because she took those that no one wanted. Dying, crippled, and ugly, sick and suffering that no one wanted. How many of those that have gained such attention to get this story out into the world ever acknowledged this little fact? How quick to jump to the gun to judgement without full responsibility of doing what no one else wanted to do. I hope the fund raiser that the ASPCA has received from this huge nighmare helps everyone sleep at night. No one else still gives a damn. But the ASPCA is still raking in the bucks to get what all animals need, yet those that nobody ever gives a damn about will never receive.

Uh did you read the article, Emerald? Those were normal cats being sent there because the woman sending them thought they were being adopted out. They weren't "Dying, crippled, and ugly, sick and suffering that no one wanted." as you say.
Obviously people gave enough of a damn about those animals to put their needless suffering to an end.

Here we go again. Emerald posts a different point of view, and is accused of not reading or comprehending the issues. Emerald is right on target.

Noted with Thanks Ali.
Still waiting for answers on this case. Wouldn't this be a good one for reality court? I hate reality shows but I'd watch this court case.

"Dasenbrock sent cats to Tiger Ranch by the van load expecting them to be adopted out.
She told Welles, "We worry about them now because we don't think with what's coming out in the news that maybe they all didn't get adopted out so there's been kind of a teeter totter of emotions here in Atlanta wondering what happened to all of the cats that we did send up to Tiger Ranch."
In fact, Tiger Ranch's own records show it took in nearly 6,500 cats in 2007, but adopted out only 14.
Atlanta is overrun with cats, and warm weather means more breeding cycles and more and more kittens.
And no kill cat shelters are filled to capacity.
Dasenbrock said, "We assumed that our animals, our cats were going up and being adopted out on the weekends to homes because we had heard there was a shortage of animals to be adopted up there. We sent beautiful cats up there, very adoptable, very healthy cats up there.""

I just wonder, if all of the records are forged, why did the Defense not object to them being entered as evidence? The guy objected to everything from Linda Bruno's NAME to the discharge on her walls but he wouldn't objecct to forged records? A little strange don't you think?

Naturally, when one makes progressive steps, there may be some who see it as a betrayal of their goals and interests.
There really can be no peace without justice. There can be no justice without truth. And there can be no truth, unless someone rises up to tell you the truth. Louis Farrakhan

Lets just hope that more spay and neuter programs and responsible pet ownership will be the norm and arguments over shelters will be moot.
