If you don't believe sleep deprevation is a VERY serious thing...no that tons of people have gotten killed or killed someone at the wheel of their cars! It's as deadly as alcohol.......

I am someone who does not sleep more than about 5 hours a night. I am chronically tired but seem to wake up in the evening, so I stay up til I can sleep. (I believe that I could sleep in the A.M., but the world starts early, so I get up.)

Kathy you are right also. I do try to avoid driving when I know I am too tired.

Thank you.

Well we are certainly insomniacs - I never used to sleep very long at all when I was younger to much of in a rush to get to the next day - and now that I am 67 I may sleep a little longer but very fitful hear every little noise.
I empathize with you all. Blue if I live to 94 that will certainly be not only a good innings but will have given me heaps of time to save some $$$$$ for my kidlets. Thanx.

In the US, specially, our sleep is wrecked by the fast pace of life, and the ridiculously demanding jobs that most people work.

Sleep deprivation is a form of torture used to break victims; that may explain a lot about our dopey culture...
