To say energy is "ripe" is to say it is there for the taking, if we know how to "harvest it."...

Love it when creative imaginations come up new brilliant but practical ideas. I have read before that if we could find ways to harvest energy we save more than the national debt and have millions employed. Shouldn't we encourage more creative thinking? Thank you, Frans.

What will they think of next beyond highway and street pavings that collect and store solar energy and highway lights that only turn on at the approach of a car and then turn off? It's really time to get off the fossil fuel addiction. Go scalar wave!

Noted! The technology is called Piezoelectric. The tech has been around a few years, but not main stream.

Wow! Wish *I* were smart enough to figure out how to harvest this energy--living as close to the railroad tracks as I do, I'd have LOTS and LOTS of harvested energy, just from my house's shaking alone!

Reminds me of a dance club I visited recently. The floor got energy from the steps of people dancing, and lit up in response. Piezoelectric, I think that's what you call it.

That is so awesome! I thinkg there are so many ways to harvest energy from, we need more imaginative people and the technology.
