Thanks for posting Frans--this is one that also has family members and friends not understanding the episodic nature of sometimes can, sometimes cannot do or tolerate various things and what all can aggravate symptoms. And it also shares the impacts of most all invisible disabilities where there are not visible reminders so strangers and others in public places often can add to the person with RSD/CRPS's challenges.

I never new of this terrible, very painful disease. Thank you so much for bringing it to our attention, this is something I really want to learn more about, as I don't think many people are aware of it. My prayers go out to those who have this and their families that have to understand and deal with the many issues that must accompany this diagnosis. Best of luck to your friend Kathy , Fran's.

I am so glad you posted this Frans. I was originally diagnosed with CRPS/RSD as I was exhibiting many of the symptoms. Later my diagnosis was changed to Fibromyalgia. I have the utmost sympathy and respect for any who suffer from this disease. I do understand what it is like to have an invisible condition that others cannot understand. It is very frustrating and it can wear you down even more. I do hope they can find a cure for this soon as I can't stand the thought of anyone having to live with that level of pain non-stop. My sincerest sympathies to your friend Kathy, Frans. Thank you Judi for forwarding this to me.

All the best to everyone, I was diagnosed with Lupus, in 2000 and later had that diagnosis changed to Fibromyalgia. It's sad for anyone and also the friends and families.

This sounds much like the pain I was suffering over 5 years ago. The doctors could diagnose or do nothing. One doctor even gave me such a heavy dose of medicine it pretty much knocked me out....and I had a job to keep. The doctor who made me realize, I was on my own, no medical help was available, did the best thing a doctor ever did. He got mad! because I kept coming back and there was nothing he could do.

That's when I started thinking. I am sharing. I am not telling anyone what to do. One of the main lessons I learned as Creator and I healed whatever it was, a primary lesson was that I am the expert on my own body. I need to think, analyze, research and consult with my Higher Power. I realized "If I don't want to stay in almost unbearable pain for the rest of my life, I am going to have to HELP MYSELF UNDER GOD."

I am not a doctor. I cannot tell you what to do. I don't know what another should do. I only know for myself. I am just sharing with you what I did.

I was a mess, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. I decided my first step was to get right spiritually. THIS was for me. I don't tell anyone else what to do! I got right with Creator which involved getting out of a "House of the Goddess" and "divorcing" my wife. No more GAY for me!!! Again. this was ME. I am not judging anyone else. I stay out of those issues.

I also did research and a lot of thinking. I'm not going to describe all of the treatments I gave to myself. They involved getting off of ALL medication. I couldn't do that all at once. I got help from Hi Health natural health store and from Poison Control. I started exercising, even if it hurt. I changed my diet to vegetarian, natural foods. I asked myself questions such as, "Could this be infection inside my body?" I tried large doses of vitamin C. THAT really helped. I DO NOT advise it for anyone else. It's supposed to be dangerous to take the quantities of Vitamin C that I took and still take. Each body is different. I am not a doctor. I am not going to tell you what to do.

I am only telling you what I did that worked for ME.

I then got the idea to make contact with the current of light and sound that I, personally, believe flows from the throne of God. I drew the light and the music down from the higher realms down through my chakras, from above my head, all through my body and through my feet.

I heard what I believe to be the voice of God say,

"Listen to the music while being aware of my presence."

Something happened.

The pain was gone.

I went to another doctor for an examination about two weeks later.

The doctor gave me a physical, he then looked at me and said, "I don't think you've got diabetes any more.
I'm going to do tests." I also got second opinions. The diabetes was gone. My body was in tip top shape.
Like they used to say, "I was healthy as a horse." AND NO MORE PAIN.

This is more than five years later. I get a physical each year, just to check on my condition. I will be 71
October 31. My health is right nigh perfect. My doctor who gave me this year's exam said, "I don't mess with perfect."

I still practice the things I learned that contributed to my recovery.

I AM NOT TELLING YOU WHAT TO DO.

I am just sharing with you my continuing experience. There is no pain in my body.

My yearly visit to one doctor, it seemed he couldn't believe I was in such good condition. It was amusing.
He gave me his hand and said, "Squeeze my hand." Well, he asked for it!!!

He got his hand away as fast as he could and said, "When I get the circulation going through my hand again."

Don't under estimate THIS Old Lady! His assistant advised me to be sure I got enough protein since I'm a

vegetarian.

Dr. said, "She's getting enough protein or she wouldn't be that strong! " ROFLOL

I GIVE THANKS TO CREATOR.

I am mentally, emotionally and physically healed!!! Even my teeth were healed according to xrays before and after. lol

What really made me laugh is that before I was getting a bit of a mustache on my upper lip. Well, even that
was erased. lol

I am blessed in all I do.

I GIVE THANKS.

My wife has been suffering with this for 10 years now. It is uncurable ( and at this point she cannot get it into remission which if diagnosed quickly and correctly, can be done). It has literally destroyed our lives. And though I do not have the physical pain believe me, I suffer right along with her. Now her pain meds doc has decided she does not need the dosage of pain killers she has been being prescribed because it is a danger to her health. If he had to live with that pain, I doubt he'd care if it might cause him death. There are worse things than death! How do you prescribe the meds for 10 years and then decide you don't want to treat her any longer because you cannot help her any other way? It is proving more than difficult to find a new doctor and none of them wants to write the prescriptions she needs. I just don't know what we are going to do. I've lost my job and can't really leave her alone for any length of time. Life has become so depressing now. Sorry, I'll get off the soap box and shut up now.

Not sure exaactly how I want to say this - death and pain are both our enemies certainly. Bur maybe as a culture we need to see pain as THE enemy as opposed to death. This and all chronic pain diseases are terrible, and seem to be getting more prevalent.

I had not heard of this, although am hearing more frequently of people suffering from it or something like this. The more I learn about GMO's and the other toxins that are going into our air, water, and foods, I think we are doing a grave injustice to ourselves. Some bodies might be able to fight the toxins off better than others.

In answer to a comment made above, I went to their page and left this message.

It might be helpful to someone else.
........................................................................

re:American RSD Hope....suggest read my comment then
GO NATURAL. Research. Miracles happen when go natural. Check Hi Health or similar .health store. Knowledge is power. Internet has much information suggest explore Ayuveda videos and articles
..................................................................................

What Dandelion says above is right on.

That's why we need to find other ways of helping our beloved bodies to heal and be happy and healthy.

I have found the current of light and sound mentioned in my above comment really cleanses and heals MY body. And of course, I go running to Creator, "Please, fix me!" Works for ME. There are also Yoga exercises. Get information remembering that bodies are individuals. What works for Jim might not work for Karen.

above all

THINK and get information. Let that brain of yours participate in healing. If you're having problems with your brain or your memory.....I was about a year ago...I joined Lumosity! Scientific games to exercise your brain.
When I first began I was in trouble with my memory! NOW on the five functions of the brain: speed, memory, attention, flexibility PROBLEM SOLVING hey, I'm gettin' good! lol , On the BPI which is Lumosity for IQ rating, I'm 94%above the other members in my age group.

Knowledge is power. The brain, when exercised, is the body organ who can understand and apply the knowledge gained through speed, memory, attention, flexibility and PROBLEM SOLVING.

I treat my body and my brain as a beloved child. That love and acceptance for your body encourages
miracle healing.

Hal le lu YAH!!!
