This is the kind of photo thats apropriate with this story. Not the one with Gov, Palin at a shooting range to look like she is personally killing the wolves. Maybe she does but until we have a real photo of her doing that, lets not dramatize with photos of other things. thanks Katia for this post and sharing the truth but in a way we can respect and get behind and support.

It's become VERY VERY apparent that there are 2 kinds of people in our society KILLERS and THOSE WHO DO NOT KILL

let's make sure we free our society from the killers and vote every single REPUBLICON out of the Congre$$ and the White Hou$e before they kill us all.

something else you need to know.....Despite strong scientific, ethical and public opposition to aerial hunting, Governor Palin has…

Proposed paying a $150 bounty for the left foreleg of each dead wolf.
Approved a $400,000 state-funded propaganda campaign to promote aerial hunting.
Introduced legislation to make it even easier to use aircraft to hunt wolves

Noted and thanks Katia. Even if she has not personally shot a wolf herself, she condones it and that is equally inhumane. It's like people who buy and wear fur, they may not actually torture and kill the animals themselves, but they are responsible for keeping this gruesome and despicable industry in business.

Sorry Folks, But I had to share this with you. Here it is more than a week after voting, and I get this response today from the wonderful idiot Don Young of Alaska. Same lies and bs as the 200+ letters I get from Steven as well in the last 2 years. These people sicken me to my soul.

These wolves and grizz have never been a threat to anypopulation of Alaksa except the egos of the freakin trophy hunters. And they still broke the laws since MUrkowski came into office. They all need to go to jail including Sarah Palin.

Dear Mrs. Pommawolf Wolfweep's,

Thank you for your correspondence regarding H.R. 3663, the Protect America's Wildlife Act. I appreciate hearing from you on this important issue.

As you know, H.R. 3663 would ban the State's predator control program which entails the aerial management of wolves. The science-based and abundance-driven program is designed to manage Alaska's wolf population in such a way as to minimize the threat these extremely efficient predators pose to the caribou and moose populations on which many Native and rural Alaskans depend for survival. Contrary to the claims of the bill's supporters, I do not believe this issue has anything to do with "hunting"; it is about necessary predator control.

Our State is more than twice the size of Texas, but has fewer miles of paved roads than the District of Colombia; therefore aircraft are the only efficient means of conducting the practice. I also believe that we must put the needs of our Native and rural subsistence peoples ahead of these concerns. An unmanaged wolf population would directly jeopardize the availability of these Alaskans' food source; if this bill were to become law, that is exactly what would happen.

Moreover, this bill violates the 10th Amendment to the Constitution and would be an unprecedented federal incursion into traditional State management of fish and wildlife. In short, it is simply another attempt by outside interests and Members from the Lower 48 to dictate how Alaska should manage its natural resources. With more than half of Alaska owned and managed by the federal government, I believe we must resist all attempts by outside interests to plunder additional authority from the State - regardless of the issue. The predator control program is an Alaskan issue, and it should be decided by Alaskans.

I hope this information helps you to understand my position on this issue. Your views are important to me, and I would encourage you to continue to contact in the future with any other concerns you may have. If you haven't already done so, I would also encourage you to sign up for my e-newsletter at http://donyoung.house.gov/IMA/issue_subscribe.htm. This will allow me to provide you with updates on this and other important issues. If I can be of any assistance in the future, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

DON YOUNG

Palin is one hateful individual. Anti-environment, anti-wildlife, pro drill anywhere for money, anti-choice for women (NOBODY tells me what I will do with MY body), pro fight in Iraq until we rot......what else is there to be said? Oh, pro-abstinance with a pregnant daughter....I'll stop. 4 MORE YEARS OF CRAP...THINK ABOUT IT. Angrily noted, Katia.

What all of us who care about animals and animal abuse & cruelty can do is this: Contact the media. Television, television programs, etc. Ask them how come the truth is not coming out regarding Sarah Palin's involvement in cruelty to animals. Send them these articles. Currently, her personna is being "candy-coated." There is no excuse for this cruelty.

I just read the letter from Don Young. If the aerial hunting is the only way to control the population of wolves and ensure that caribou & moose thrive, then tell me this: WHY DO YOU HAVE TO SHOOT A WOLF AT LEAST 6 TIMES OR MORE? Maiming it, chasing it, torturing it? If this is science-based, and for the sake of the Native people's food supply, then you mean to tell me that 1 shot - a clean kill - would not work? I don't believe you are telling the truth. This is all about the Safari Club and the need to have hunters pay money to you and for the trophies.

Another point about Don Young's letter: If the state of Alaska is so big that aerial hunting has to be used on wolves, then how come aerial hunting is not used on caribou and moose to supply food for the Natives. The Alaskan Natives did quite well for themselves all along, before this aerial hunting became the practice. Don Young's letter is just political rhetoric.

Wolfweeps: You are an Alaskan and speak well of the truth. I defend animals, believe in the spirit of the Wolf, defend the helpless and the elderly. Thank you for being you. I have read other posts you have written.

All created things are alive, conscious, and want to communicate. The Creator has endowed all creatures with wisdom and joy, and they are eager to share with us their ways of being in the world. In time we learn to recognize them as our companions.
