Thanks Michael, im so glad that these Ladies saved him! it makes you feel a bit better about people when you read something like this..there are good people, they are just hard to find...especially if you are a dog like Philly lying there dying.

lovely story! shows that some people in uniforms do care and is a breath of fresh air from the recent stories involving officers and wildlife. i hope they are able to fund the bill and good luck to all involved! same on the owners, why did you let the dog out in the first place? if you didn't want him, give him to someone who does! this was a totally AVOIDABLE incident
