Noted. Joplin Humane Society Animal Adoption & Resource Center have a Facebook page but I don't see a link for people to donate? Must be possible. Also the Red Cross and the Salvation Army will be doing much good helping people who have suffered. While Joplin got hit really badly deadly storm damage has/is and will happen elsewhere so donations to nationwide aid organizations are always a good choice.

I live in the Joplin area and it is a mess to the least. Thank you everyone for your thoughts, prayers and donations. They are very much appreciated. i know several people who lost homes as well as jobs to the tornado and literally have nothing left.

I hope they can find the people they were living with. If not there should be a no kill shelter for them. Hate to think of how many animals died along with the people.
